&%$! Why does MediaMonkey do this to my iPod?!

Featured Replies

I just refuse to use iTunes. It's screwed me over more than once and I just refuse.

So, I started using MediaMonkey, which is pretty user-friendly, however when I transfer new music to my iPod...sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes I will lose ALL my album art once I try to eject the iPod!

Sometimes when I go to eject, it will eject properly. Other times it won't and I have to go "My Computer" and select to eject it from the F drive. That's when I lose all my album art.

Okay, so my question is......is there just a better program out there? Is it MediaMonkey that is the problem? Perhaps Winamp?? Or something else? I'm so tired of going back into my iPod and retagging album art for 1000+ songs! It's too f'in tedious!

It's apple's methods of saying "you are trying to not use iMemory-Leak, so we are going to screw you around".

Sadly iPods are going the way of the mp3 players of 2002/03 time, good music players but rubbish software
