Goodbye and Goodnight Notes

Featured Replies

Well it took me a while but I found them  Hope this helps, I'll have a tutorial soon!

Intro:

(a) next to a note means play it fast together, but not as a chord

(G)Bb Eb Bb

A Bb Eb

Ab Ab G

Repeat 4 times and after the 3rd squence on the 4th time:

C (Ab)(G)(F)

Repeat twice, after 2nd time:

Lower: Eb D

1st Part:

G F G Ab G F G Low Eb

G F G Low Eb Eb F Low Eb

Repeat as necessary

2nd Part:

C Bb C Db C Bb C Ab

C Bb C Ab Ab Bb

Repeat as Necessary

3rd Part (A little Different):

High: F Eb F Gb Ab Gb F Eb

After the 3rd plat, play the 2nd part

Chorus:

This whole bit is in the Scientist motion and the right side goes first!!!!

Ab | C Eb

Ab | Eb F

Bb | Eb F

Bb | Eb G

Chord: Ab C Eb

Sequence: High: Ab G F Eb D Eb Eb

Play the 1st Part

Last Sequence: This is tricky to figure out:

High: Eb Bb Eb G Higher: Eb Bb High: G F Eb

Repeat and fade

This is awesome,

but,

since I'm quite a noob at piano,

could anyone do a tutorial video? *puppy-eyes*

Yes.

I'll do a tutorial.

I figured out the half of the song already but I have troubles at one point.

But I'm starting to notice what Bill meant in those tabs. You tabbed the most hearable notes during the 1st part and 2nd part. You did a good job.

Well there's that crappy "OH I CAN'T DESCRIBE THE STAGE YOU PUT ME IN" part which is totally weird ; / But after that there's only bridge kind of thing and the ending left, so not so much. I'll do my best to post the tutorial as quick as possible.

the weird part is the 3rd bit. I know if you play it alone its rather odd, but it sounds close, but i'm pretty sure you can throw some chords in :D

I've noticed that Coldplay likes to use Eb and Bb alot

Yes! And they choosed well cause those chords are lovely. I mean the scales with the Eb and Bb are always great and easy to improvise. The scale I hate the most is the basic one o___O

Aaaaaaaaaaand.

Ladies and Gentlemans. I finished. I think I got the whole song now. It'll probably sound a little weird cause I'll use piano instead of keyboard but still I think it's correct. Well I didn't understand your tabs at all Bill, but it was still helpful :) the ending for example. You really figured out this one very well.

So I don't know when I'll have a chance to record cause my bro is in the house, but I'll do my best.

I'll do my best to post the tutorial as quick as possible.

Thank You! - but, take your time

Noooooooooooooooo.

I recorded it on Sunday and there was some kind of breakdown so my internet didn't work for last few days. ; / What the fuck.

Anyway I'm just putting it on YT but be patient it will take a while.

If you'd be my neighbor I'd bring you a cake.

Oh you're so lovely : )

It's 49 % done cause my computer is a little slow. But well, if it'll upload next 4-5 hours I'm definitely gonna put the subtitles today.

in the meantime I'll try to pronounce the "szcz" combination of your location..

Well. Good luck with it : D The "sz" is like "sh" in English or "sch" in German and "cz" is like "tsch" in both of them. Language is a bitch ^^

By the way, done my friend:
