Did Brian Eno improve Coldplay's music?

Featured Replies

Brian Eno is undoubtedly what Coldplay needed after X&Y. I think that on MX, he did a great job at squeezing more out of Jonny's guitar skills. However, I feel like now they've fired off all little tricks and gadgets they had got. In order to get better, they now have to evolve in their skills as musicians, and I am not sure whether Eno is able to accomplish that (perhaps he is, judging by Jonny's vast improvement on this album; the riffs are a great improvement for Coldplay (still nothing really groundbreaking though)).

The future will tell.

I think all Coldplays ablum are unlike anything else out their. That said, Viva and MX are even furthur out there, in a good way of coarse. I think only the band can be thanked for there great albums, but yes, Eno is a great producer too.:D
