Don't know if this is thread worthy or not (it's my first thread!), but I'm watching the Packers play the Vikings right now and I noticed something going into the commercial break. Don't Let It Break Your Heart was playing in the background while highlight were shown! I was shocked and ecstatic! :D

 

I found it kind of strange though too; I know it's an upbeat, melodious tune, but that's an odd choice for publicity (if that was even the motive, you'd think they choose PoC, CB, HLH...). MNF could have just chosen the song as a transition, who knows! And a nice choice it was ;)

 

Any thoughts? What do you all think?

I missed the game :( and apparently DLIBYH :( :(

ESPN has been using the track a lot.I hear on SportsNation all the time along with Paradise.They use it during Sportscenter and some other shows as well.Its nice to hear it when it pops up.I get a burst of excitement everytime I hear it.

yea ESPN is using DLIBYH and Paradise to but i heard DLIBYH instrumental on Sunday when i was watching NASCAR so.........

Saw the second half of the Packers game so I missed it! :(

Ive noticed Paradise and DLIBYH a lot on ESPN as well. It makes me wonder if DLIBYH is going to be a single... :wink3:

If you go to espn.com/music you will see that those two songs are part of the "songs of the month" along with some other bands songs. Too bad the songs of the month can't just be all Coldplay.

I've also been noticing DLIBYH during Nascar on ESPN, both during the races and their 'Nascar Now" shows. Along with Paradise and ETIAW. Can't wait for next year when Fox returns, they use Coldplay during Nascar more than any other network.

im a nascar fan.....just not a huge one, but when i do watch it...they never use coldplay......always kid rock or something like that

yeah i noticed that. I neard GPASUYF on Sunday Night Football a few weeks ago.

 

every time i hear their music randomly on tv i go: "HEY!!! :lol: "

The only time I've heard one of the new songs on TV was when a friend showed me Paradise on a program about sex for teenagers....
