I also agree with the David Guetta songs. Thought the same since the first time I heard the songs. But I dont mind because the songs rocks especially Without You.

It is a simple down-scaling arpeggio. The Bruno Mars one is in minor key, and thus doesn't resemble Clocks as much as the Guetta one. There's a different between layering the riff though, as seen in the Mars and Guetta/Usher, and using the riff as the main hook to the song, as Guetta/Rowland did.

Guetta fuckin' ripped Coldplay.

 

But he is such a lame musician anyway.
