same reason the thousands of other people do it: low self-confidence. frankly, i don't think it's that bad, but it kind of misses the point: you don't need the approval of others to feel good about yourself.

i would never put myself in one of those rating things... yeah right! why go through all the pain?? :stunned:

Totally agreed, Tom Peed .. at least with the second sentence. I'm inclined to agree with the first, too, expect I want to give her the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to idle curiosity.
