Mainly because I had a weird experience when I was younger where I was in the kitchen and I glanced through to the lounge area and I saw my mum sitting on the sofa.

I then walked past the lounge and through the hallway and my mum was just coming down the stairs. I looked back into the lounge and there was no one there. Freaked me the fuck out. I asked her if she was just in the lounge (even though it would be impossible for her to have passed me without me noticing) and she said no.

 

So I believe I had a moment where I expected to see my mother sitting there that my brain just kinda made it so.

 

Obviously my mother is not dead, so it wasn't a ghost, just a figment of imagination.

Won't believe it until I see it.
