Another Leg of MX Tour too?

 

If there is an EP, would it mean another Europe and N.A. Leg? Surely they wouldn't release an EP and then only tour with it in Latin America...

It’s entirely possible that they are recording demos for LP6 but at this point I don’t think that is the case. If they wanted to record demos why not just wait until they get home and head into the bakery? Instead they were in an Australian studio working during an already busy time which makes me wonder if they are nearing a deadline for something. I also question if Jon Hopkins would be there during the demo stage as well but I could easily see him adding some more “light and magic” to already existing songs. Does this mean a new EP... maybe, maybe not.

 

Having said all that it could very well be that Jon was working on his own album and some of the guys were there to feature on one of his tracks or maybe even just visiting while they were in town.

but that's not anything new for them... if i remember correctly, they did the same sort of thing in the VLV era, beginning to work on LP5 while they were still wrapping up the tour.

obviously it's early enough at this point that whatever work they do would most likely not make it onto the next album, at least not in its current form, but that doesn't mean they aren't looking ahead.

also, the VLV demos that were leaked a few years back i think were from late 2006, when of course VLVODAHHF was a year and a half away from being released. so it's REALLY not anything new for them. :P

They do - when they are back home. When they aren't and the mood takes them, they use local studios. They've done this many times before in places such as Chicago, New York, Barbados

I don't know. They wouldn't necessarily tour with it. They might alter the setlist to include some of the songs from it, but I reckon they might do it more to support the comics rather than for a tour.

 

Hard to know really. Their concepts and ideas change so often its hard for anyone to predict what they'll do next :D
