Well, today is National Bad Poetry Day in the US. (everywhere else, too bad, you are now Americanized) I decided to make this thread for people to post their poetry/song lyrics that they think are bad (I guess it's also kinda a moral support thing) Anyway, I'll start with my first real poem...

 

 

 

Sodium Glow

Guiding the streets below

Shining bright; humanity's mark

Illuminating the path in the dark

 

As I travel the path back home,

I see humanity, alone

Uncontested by the dying Earth

Choking out what gave us birth

Starting Again

 

We're on a one way train

Through the dark and rain

To a new chapter in our lives

We've reached the end of the road

Now we'll walk where we haven't been before

Take a leap of faith and believe

There's so much we can achieve

And yeah this is not the end

Cause yeah It's time to start again

 

 

Don't let the world cut you down to size

There's so much to love if you'll open your eyes

Don't let fear take control over you

The sky's your limit so pure and true

Don't be afraid to change a thing
