I mean, this interview is friggn OLD, NINE YEARS TO BE EXACT

Fuck man, those days! :wacky: Coldplay really were EVERYWHERE. Speed of Sound was constantly blasting either from a nearby tv or the speakers in stores you went to LOL.

 

I think the same happened with VIVA, I do believe it was even more extreme.

 

The 'Coldplay fever' stage wasn't as strong from Viva onwards in the UK I thought, although Viva La Vida was still a huge hit.

You know I feel like I was so cool back then when listening to Coldplay was literally the coolest thing like I dont think my friends liked the band or even knew the band because Coldplay was considered to be one of the rare bands in my home country during 2000s until the release of VLV in 2008! One of my friends once told me she said yeah I know Coldplay, I'm always tuning the parachutes album in my car and ALWAYS FALLING ASLEEP BECAUSE ALL OF THE SONGS ALWAYS PUT ME INTO SLEEP YOU KNOW..
