Rolling Stone 'Climate Change' article

Featured Replies

So, Chris just tweeted about this (http://t.co/EbfsJbEz9r) Rolling Stone article. I read it and I can only say that I'm stunned.

Honestly, this things worry me alot. I'm very young and I really don't want to grow old in a decaying world. I try my best to have a greener lifestyle but it's not always easy. But if everyone at least tried to do it, we wouldn't be at the edge of the cliff like we currently are.

Thankfully, there people working to delay (and stop, if possible) this process of extinction.

But we all have to do our part.

Please take some time to read it too. It's a long article, but I think it's really important for people to know what we're doing to our home and how we can improve our actions.

After you read it, please come here to discuss it.

Climate change is a scientifically accepted phenomenon everywhere but one place: The United States House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.

Just thought I'd share this: Sheldon Whitehouse really burnt Jim Inhofe there.

It has been scientifically proven!!

It's a FACT. There's absolutely no way to deny it! We have proofs, facts, studies, data, everything!!

There are people who deny evolution and the effectiveness of vaccination etc.

And of course, if powerful companies want something not to be acted upon by politicians, not a problem, they let spring a few dollars, and a scientifically recognized phenomenon turns into a puff of smoke.

Apparantly, that's the "beautiful world" we live in. Thankfully, there are people trying their best to change it. I hope they succeed.
