There's nothing wrong with that. I think their second record is a solid one though I still find GS superior over it musically. If you do enjoy Smoke and Mirrors, then good for you.

ID basically squeezed in as many rock genres possible while GS actually kept with the theme

I like some songs from Smokes and Mirrors, but other songs there don't really give me the feel.The GS vibe is okay as a album i guess although there are songs like True Love/Another's Arms which I don't really like,there are great songs like Ghost Story(Sadly a B-Side).

I'm hoping they are good live, I'm just waiting to find out who I am taking with me to see them on Thursday Night at 02 Arena, London, I would have taken my favourite support worker, but she went on maternity leave as of Saturday.

They are pretty good live, they just don't usually play as many songs as Coldplay. But since you're at the O2 arena, you're safe for about 17-19 songs.

I thought it was just me that liked both bands. Imagine dragons sound awesome but I prefer Coldplay (and this is rather biased as this is a Coldplay fan site) because of the image they have

Also has anyone else noticed that both of them have songs called "trouble " and "Amsterdam "?

I love Imagine Dragons but no one can ever compare to CP for me. And I noticed that at least about Amsterdam :)

I haven't seen that many performances by them but this is one of the best things I've ever seen, I love it so much :
