hadilley
I was wondering if anyone has any information about being on the field as a part of the audience during the halftime show? I will be in the Bay Area that weekend so it would be a fantastic opportunity.
Mehovoric
I think sometimes they use some of the setup crew since they're already out on the field. This article though provides an interesting story: http://espn.go.com/espnmag/story?id=3883893 ... So keep an eye out on local craigslist ads and similar spots. I'm not saying give it a second thought; if you don't actually care about the game, then go for it. Just be prepared. I can say that at Levi's stadium, all of the sound for the bowl comes out of one of the giant video walls on the upper deck so you'll probably be okay for sound. If you want to spend three weeks there and help with the setup apply here: http://www.superbowlproductions.com/schedulehalf50.php I would be all over this but I'd pretty much have to quit my job. haha. hadilley
Wow! Thanks for that link! I'll certainly keep an eye on craigslist. That never would have occurred to me!
bdevil89
Hey Hadilley - I'm going to arrive in SF that weekend after a 2 week trip to Australia/NZ (i know i'm a nut) but im trying to go to the Super Bowl primarily for Coldplay - been following these guys since the beginning. This is so huge for them, and I hope they pull it off... they are one of the best live bands and bands.. period to come around in a generation. Let me know if you find any details regarding this, as I want to be a part of the audience for the show if possible too.

I remember seeing something in the Super Bowl 50 topic/ board about being able to enter just to see Coldplay and be on the field with them as a fan. There were directions and requirements for it like having a group and a group leader.

Think I found the directions you're talking about: http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2016/01/12/coldplay-fans-sought-for-super-bowl-50-halftime-show/ Unfortunately it looks like they're already full for fans: https://callsheet.me/projects/6/roles/44 ... Boo Hiss And I'd bet set up crew is already selected since they would have had their orientation yesterday.
