"Ugh" is actually a Devon trademark.

I thought I had found a way to answer your question from the other night.

Oh I see, I thought you had thought of something different maybe. :/

Nah ... I'm not that smart.

At least, tonight I'm not that smart.

Working hard tonight?

This topic isn't that hard, I think. :smug:

OMG! I was up until 2am last night finishing some last minute stuff.

Tonight I'm not working at all.

I'm actually about to crack a beer.

That's good. It's not good to work that hard everynight. I am glad you are enjoying yourself tonight. :D

Gracias. I think the rest of the week should be a little easier than the last two have. Hopefully I can regroup a little bit.

What are you planning to do to regroup?

I'm not really sure. I'm out of money until money, so I can't get my car fixed ...

... so my options are very limited.

I'm not too sure. Maybe I'll just run a lot. I don't really know.

Oh ... an office threatened to take me to jail last night :)

Someone offered to take you to jail??

:stunned:

Yep.

It was a first.

Never had a officer in my face before.

Why did he threaten you? What did you do now.. :sneaky:

Last night was Fat Tuesday. Down here they had a lot of the street roped off to car traffic. Traffic officers were directing cars and pedestrians.

I thought one office was taking too long so I yelled at him "Hey! Are we gonna get to cross soon?"

"You have a problem?" he responded.

"Yeah! I want to get across the street today."

"Sir, I've got all these cars here and ..."

"And look at all these people waiting!"

At this point his partner come up to me, right in my face.

"Do we have a problem?" he says in his best "My Dad Never Hugged Me" voice.

"Yes," I tell him. "When are we going to get to go?"

"Do you want to go to jail?"

"Uh, no."

"OK then, what's the problem?"

"I just want to be able to cross a street."

Leaving, the officer says "Thank you, sir."

And that's my bad-ass story.

Ooohhh.. people do special stuff over there for Fat Tuesday??

Thank you sir?

Really bad-ass. Fine work there Richard. :P

Shudddup, kyddo! :P

I should have stood up to him more.

Fat Tuesday is pretty big here. At 6pm they shut down the Gaslamp Quarter to all auto traffic and let people go crazy. They basically allow it to be the French Quarter for 8 hours.

Maybe you were just testy yesterday.. I mean, how hard is it to wait to cross the street?

Aww man, that's cool about Fat Tuesday!! Did you join in on the fun?

I like this one :D

Well, yeah. I was mad that they shut down streets so early. It inhibited my run. How hard is it to wait? How hard is it to stay the fack out of my way?!?!?!!?! :D

Because of the work commitments, I couldn't participate in the festivities :(

I like this one :D

What a goober :P

Dude, he looks awesome in that pic! Classy!

:D

Only he can pull it off!

He looks like my friend Dustin.

We used to call him turtle.

who's dustin? and why'd you call him turtle?

Dustin's a high-school friend.

I'm not exactly sure how he ended up being turtle. I'm sure that predates our friendship.

Dustin is not a cool name. I would never name my kid that.
