If you are using winrar it won't work since their software has a broken implementation of 7z (and a bunch of other formats) and this company has become pure garbage the last decade or so, people should just stop using it.
Grab the latest version of 7zip from here:
https://www.7-zip.org/
If you're on Mac OS https://www.keka.io/en/ is possibly the only reliable alternative.
