I became a bassist cos:

 

1 - i'm not a good singer

2 - lots of ppl play the guitar. i wouldn't feel special if i were a guitarist

3 - It's too hard to play the drums.

4 - Uhh... Bass is the coolest instrument. :cool:

Hey, check out the bassline in 'Crush,' by Dave Matthews Band. GREAT stuff. Everytime I get it in my head, I can't get it out. Especially the bass/bass drum combination.

actually my reasons were very similar to those--i couldn't sing if my insanity depended on it. i have a 'natural rythm', i just feel it sorta..... then theres so many guitarists out there and i prolly wouldn't be very good at it anyways. drums i also wanted to play but theres no room in my house. and of course, bass is the coolest :cool: o and also i heard the the bass on what song was it....actually it was a Coldplay song. For You. i just loved the rich deep sound of it and though i didn't know it before, most of my favorite parts of songs are the basslines :)
