This is in my opinion, the band that defines grunge best. Layne Staley is one messed up person, but he is also an amazing musician. Dirt is an awesome album, all their songs have a very unique sound that other bands today try to copy....PUDDLE OF MUDD.

I just got into them recently. I heard the song Would on the Singles soundtrack, and then I was hooked.

I used to listen to them a lot, but most music of that era (the whole "grunge" thing) has really bored me for awhile.

And yeah, I think it's been about two years since Layne died... oh. Jacob beat me to it. :P
