Wrestler John Bradshaw Layfield give Nazi salute

As reported this weekend, John Bradshaw Layfield used a bunch of Adolf

Hitler Nazi mannerisms in the ring towards the crowd on Saturday in Munich, Germany. Bradshaw did this as an attempt to get over as a heel and get some extra heat for his match against Eddie Guerrero.

After speaking to several sources, the general feeling is that Bradshaw totally went over the line of decency and good taste even by today's wrestling standards. Many backstage are extremely angry for Bradshaw's actions, and many fans have even reacted to this by writing to CNBC to attempt to get Bradshaw removed from the show, and even attempting to contact the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and report Bradshaw for what he did, as any sort of tribute to Hitler and the Nazi regime is illegal in Germany.

Here is a photo of him giving the Nazi Salute, this is not a fake picture.

darn, file is too big. click on this link instead

so what do you think? to the germans in this forum, do you all feel offended?

ERGH.

Nobody click on that link because about 200 pop ups came through my pop up blocker.

Anyway, professional wrestling is an idiotic "sport" acted out by idiots trying to be as over the top and offensive as possible, so I have a tough time being angry at him because that's just what he was doing. It's obviously not in good taste, but I personally am not offended by it, although I can see why people would be.

He did get fired from his CNBC job, by the way.

:o I'm sure he'll be getting all the butt-loving he deserves in jail.

I bet his mom was a crack whore.

Yeah, everyones mom is a crack whore.

Peed, of course you can feel hate for this guy, not because hes playing up to a character, but because as a person he really fucked up.

Wrestling fans realise when a heel is playing up to being a heel, if you ask many wrestling fans they will be smart enough to decipher when someone is trying to be a heel, and the crowd plays along by booing (Unless their from the South, those guys are freakin nerds).

But I disagree with whatever Tom wrote.

As for Bradshaw, the picture aint coming up. Bradshaw ruled.

You contradict your own point, though. If everybody knows he's acting (and I'm not disputing that) wouldn't they be able to tell that it was "Bradshaw" saluting Nazis, and not John Layfield?

Like I said, it was obviously poor judgement on his part, but I don't think that necessarily makes him a bad person.

I can sorta see where you're coming from, he is an actor (Especially before the match has started) and its just like, say Ed Norton in American X (Before he turned nice). Wrestlers do insult nations, people, hicks and their customs, local baseball teams, but this is much different.

But this is extreme, its like racism, no it is racism, it represents the killing of Jews and all that hack. I dont think hes a nazi or a terrible person, but he must be some kind of idiot if he really thought he was just going to gain some heat by Hitler revival.

Shit, that was kinda your point, nevermind me. :/

All I can say is....

Idiot. Acting or no acting.

Yeah-eh-eh-ehhhh... :sneaky:
