i'd like to know what are the verbs you use most in spanish. i guess one of them is the verb "to be". but which are the others and how can i conjugate them?

To be= ser

yo soy

tu eres

el es

nosotros somos

vosotros sois

ellos son

is used like to be here= i´m tall= soy alto

and what about the simple past?

how can i say: i was / we were

 

is there present and past perfect in spanish?

Alessa when i say él is also ella (he/she) and when i say nosotros or vosotros is also nosotras, vosotras and also ellos/ellas in female
