yes i'll go to Viseu, i've looked for and collected a lot of info about this city. I must fill in some documents yet, it takes a process yet, for instance, i have to fill in a document which subjects i'll do there, and for that i must talk to my coordinator which i don't know who is yet....

i'm learning portuguese grammar... i understand portuguese people when they speak and i understand the texts i've read but as i don't know their grammar i don't feel brave to speak or write it yet... although i must start practising it soon.

there are already some portuguese thread here where to practice it. :)

it happened to most users these days, someone oened a thread yesterday night about it, i hope that the problem has been fixed already.

yesterday night was a huge storm in my city, with loads of thunders  it was at 4am :uhoh:

i think the problem has been fixed. Everything works fine now!

another storm? :\ not nice. i'd like to see that it would be raining here a bit, it's that time of the year when the air is filled with things that look like snow... but they burn really well.

have fun on your visit! ;)

well, i had a problem after login this morning...

a new storm is coming, sky is getting cloudy and dark :uhoh:

yeah, it's too close! thank you for your wishes, i'll need it! :)

i understand you, but you see, if you get a better education and therefore a better job when you finish the uni, then you should go to it. Yes, you'll depend on your parents for some time, but then you'll be able to earn more. Too bad that the opportunities aren't the same in all countries... :/ it would be better if they were.

yep, you do have your point apparently. but i know people who've been to uni and still dont have a well-paid job. i know you're right... and when i try to find reason for/ against uni i know theres more why i should do it. but its like my heart is saying no to it. its hard to explain. its about my family as well as me not wanting to stay here.

Sally, we have uni's as the ones that Nina said here in Spain, you can go to some lectures or ask your lecturers one hour a week, but you aren't obligated to go to uni all days. I thought that there are uni's like this one in all countries.

My dad says that studies are like an investment, you spend money on it ('cause uni studies are expensive), but as Nina said, when you'll finish them you'll can earn more money and get a better job. Can't you ask for any grant for uni's studies?

thats different i guess. we have that too biut that isnt a university in that way. its where you go if you wanna study after your apprenticeship. i cant study there because i havent made one.

nah i cant ask for a grant because my parents earn to much. theres no way i could get that.

of course its good to invest in your career. but as i already tried to explain its just me who doesnt feel like doing it. i might sound stupid but i dont think i could enjoy those years. i really cant see myself at uni until i'm 25.

however i'm still undecided. i know its a good thing to do and all, thats why my decisions so hard to make.

i had a great weekend. my boyfriend visited me, he was here for four days, hes back in england now because hes gotta work tomorrow. we had a wonderful time together, cant believe we havent seen each other since january.

how are you doing?

[/quote'] unfortunately the situation isn't good right now. No one can assure you you'll get a good job once you finish your studies... and it's really worrying. :\
