well he hasnt warened me, he just told me lots of things about it and that was one of the things he said. he doesnt know the country that well because he's never lived there.

yes, he does. i dont think i'd have many problems. well not more than elsewhere.

 

i understand that. but dont organisers have to say that you're doing sth as well. they would never have accepted it if we had just planned to party. we had to go to museums and at least pretend we were going to amsterdam because we found the place was historically interesting. we ususally visited a museum in the morning and could do whatever we liked in the afternoon. a mix of both is good for everyone i guess.

I personally would not recomend going to Jamaica, which is a pity as some of peoples come from there, but even non tourists and people that live there get robbed in the most barbaric way, people have to hvae guns in some parts to defend themselves...Its sad because the place, and the food is so beautiful.

you're probably a lot more likely to get robbed as a tourist but you'll hopefully be ok if you know which places to avoid. i understand that my parents dont want me to go though.

yes I have been there as a kid, also you're right in you're question ts mainly down to poverty nowt else... I am really sad to write that as it is a part of me... I would not be here if it was for Jamaica as my dad is from there... However not everyone is poor and no one starves, its no where near as bad as lets say some countries in Africa or lets say some Ghettos over the world....

 

 

Look if you're going there go... you're experince is most likley to be a positive one... the food it self will be most worth it.. something of which right now if I could have I would pay treble the normal price that it normally costs in the UK.. I really miss the Curry goat and rice.......... I cant carry on its making me very hungry.

Next sunday the 20th i'm going to Lorca, to my godmother's daugther first communion. :nice:

cool! yeah i see. well i my boyfriend said that its quite dangerous so my parents's reaction didnt really surprise. i guess we live in very rich countries compared to most parts of the world. jamaica looks like such a lovely place and i really wanna go there. the beaches must be so lovely. the food is great, well what i've tried when i lived in the uk. you dont get that over here at all, probably because hardly any people from the west indies live in switzerland. i guess its the same in spain. of curse i'll let you know if i'm going. i'd love to go soon but i first need quite a lot of money to move out. but hopefully next year. would be great if you could recommend me some places to go!

I phoned her on the Sunday to see how she was, I think she forgot. She wanted me to come and see a film with her and her friends, but my hand was still bad.. plus I was feeling a little bad about the night before. She said its important we go out soon, and get to know each other better.

 

I was off work, and then she called me to see how my hand was.. I told her it was better almost and I would be back in work today,she said she would pray for my hand to be bettter soon, she was happy to see me again and we had besos again.. I never brought up the subject about going out....

I think you should tell your doctor about it as soon as possible Daryl and specially if you are having it since some years ago.

 

I would like to get a job for this summer, but they want we start working now, and they want people with driving license and own car. :(

Now I've told our practices tutor to do more practices for this summer (June and July). I would do some uni courses this summer too. I don't think I'll do the abroad course... I'm afraid I wont have time this summer to do it, plus people had arranged it already.

 

Btw last monday i sent the first documents for Erasmus. And I was totally surprised. I'm the only student of my uni who is going to Viseu next year. :surprised: Lol I'll have the chance of meet a lot of new people from other countries and from Spain too. So cool. But some part of me expected that somebody from my uni were going too...

I think when you have your Erasmus... you will have the best time of your life ever... well one of the highlights.. I meet a lot of people from all over having their Eramus year from as far and wide as Gilbratar to the Basque country, from Amercia to New Zealand... all great people, and it opens up your eyes so much about people from other places in the world...!!!

 

I am thinking also about my next holiday and where to I go... part of me would not mind visiting south america... I have a friend from Colombia, also another from Chile and yes my friend from Argentina all the places look beautiful but I guess it will be expensive to get there...

 

Yes I do need help with the shaking, I have tried to forget about it, but even my friend she pointed out to me today, and she knew I was not too nurvous this time when I was talking to her.

 

I dont know who else I can ask, I can ask other people but to be honest I would not want to share what could be discussed with a doctor with them being there. Also the other people I know they busy when I am not busy and visa versa...

 

I told a doctor in the UK about this and he did not seem to care, he thought I was taking bad drugs like herion of which I would never do. I gave up asking then..

Well, people say that our health care is good, but at least in my area it could be better, we need another hospital, the 2 ones we already have are always crowded.
