I'm doing Great. Last thursday we had a trip. We visited a museum a Church, a cave and we did kayaking in the river, lol that was so funny :laugh3: I enjoyed it a lot, specially the kayaking :smug2: I don't have pics yet because i didn't brought my camera to the trip as we were going to do kayaking i was afraid that my camera would end in the water so...

 

I didn't went to uni on friday 'cause i was feeling a bit ill.

I have had a few days of work, last night I went for some dinner with some friends... and had a real massive stake in a catalan resturant also some toastes with tomotoe and garlic, its a liittle like pan con tomotoe but bigger.

 

Last night I went to a party, I got back to my flat at 8.00 a clock this morning. I am going to beach today for a little while now as the sun has come back to barcelona....

yes we did, they called me "captain pescanova"... pescanova is an enterprise that manofactures fishes... like the simpson's captain... that was 'cause at first i was in the front part of the canoe and i had to guide them not to crush with trees... lol that was so fun. :cool:

we thought about our next year degree trip... half my class wants to go to Mexico and the other half want to go to NY. But they are suggesting more place every day... for the ones suggested i prefer California.. btw i suggested to go to Australia. :dance: but they told me that is too far... :dozey:

I think we won't go there... to get the trip cheaper they had decided this year to do this trip with other uni students of other degrees and as the other degrees have more alumni than our degree.... i really find it a waste of time to talk about it in class, 'cause finally we will go to whatever the other uni students decide to go so... :dozey: but anyways is interesting to talk about it... but my classmates didn't agreed to any of my proposes like going to Australia: beaches, culture, modern city.... For the proposes they talked about the one i liked most is to go to California... I think i've already said that here... :thinking:

Ah, too bad that you haven't chosen a destination by yourselves and that you have to adapt to other students' wishes! But I keep my fingers crossed for you and hope that a fine place to visit will be chosen. :) But you know what they say - the place itself isn't important as the company is. So it's the best if you understand well with your mates and party wherever you are. ;)

thats always hard to decide in class. i remember when we went on a class trip [just to some place in europe but still] there was no way we could agree. we still went because it wasnt voluntary so my teacher just decided that we had to vote and go to the place that gets most votes. we went to amsterdam. when we had to decide on our own we ended up going nowhere. i was rally disappointed at the time because there were two girl who said they were gonna organise a trip and whoever wants to come can come with them and everyone else doesnt have to. but they eventually went on a trip themselves, just them and two other girls and didnt tell anyone else. oh well. :dozey:

 

if i could go anywhere i'd love to go to jamaica or generally somewhere in the caribbean. however australia sounds like a good suggestion, i personally wouldnt wanna go to the usa to be honest. or maybe i'd go to some african country or somewhere in south america, i just dont understand why everyone wants to go to the us. but i'm sure there'd be places in the usa i liked. going to the beach in california sounds nice!

Things like that are always hard to decide. Each person has their own wishes and sometimes it's difficult to consider everything. But as long as you can actually decide where to go.... =)

 

Jamaica and the Carribean sound cool! Those are the places worth visiting imo. Were you in the USA already, Sally?

oh someone also proposed to go to Jamaica... generally they want to go to America, ones prefer the caribbean others north america... I personally don't want one or the other.. i prefer go to Oceany (New Zeland, Australia...) or visit some european countries that had recently joined EU, like Bulgary, Czech republic, Poland....

I'm the cultural side of the class lol ... they always like party, paty, party and no more things... :dozey:

that really sucked. i remember we got the results of our school leaving exams and we went to a pub afterwards to watch of match [thaz was during the world cup] and they were like we're gonna call yous. and they just didnt. we were all a bit disappointed...

 

oh i see. i'm not particularly interested in museums and them things to be honest buit i dont party 24/7 either. as i said north america doesnt appeal to me but the caribbean is lovely. my boyfriend's been to jamaica twice and he showed me lots of pictures and it just looks like the lovliest place in the world. hes going this year and i'd love to come with him but i doubt i'll be able to go for financial reasons. and my parents wanna forbid me to go because they think its too dangerous. but i'm definitely going some day!

 

the czech republic's nice, i've been to prague four or five years ago. its a very nice city. lovely building and that. the food isnt nice though. but people are really nice and its a very cheap place too.

oh well what i like of my degree is the change of learn languages and of know more about History. :) Well from a tv report i saw Jamaica is not very safe... on that report someone stole the reporter's wallet... :o the reporter was a bit stupid anyways but...

i see, i guess thered be interesting historical places too if you had to go to ny or sth though. but i understand that you dont wanna go there.

 

i know.. he's half-jamaican and he told me quite a lot about it. still i absolutely wanna go there.

 

its a good idea to go to a place where you get both so everyone can choose what they wanna do. but whereever you go i'm sure theres a lot more to do than just lying around.
