I am fine, I just went for some tea. It was nice, they made a mistake with it at first and it was not made correctly. However I have been going there for a year now and I have never had a problem.

I got someone yes, but those weeks will be busier for me... and plus the concert is the 26th, that is in 5 days and i know him since just 4 days or so... (i think there's no need to get a ticket for that concert :thinking: luckily). I don't use to do things like that you know, meet in person someone that i had known through internet few days ago, it is a risky thing i'm afraid. true that he leaves near to my place... but i think the concert is as 22:00 and them use to end at 3am and to come here will take more than an hour.. :uhoh: a bit complicated.

sure that if i go i'll meet a lot of cool people... but i still hope that erasmus people will go to QdF in Coimbra in may, and he ('o little David') will be there too.

 

sure i'm dying to seen him live, but i've heard that he much bette ron concerts, not on festivals and those QdF ones are like festivals ones.

I remember I had some problem in being accepted to do this training course because they said I didn't have a proper level to do it (This happened in September). I was accepted eventually, though. Anyway, about a couple of months ago we took an exam to see if we were really ready to do the real papers and I passed it, so... yeah, I'm taking this exam on June.

 

I get your problem. You don't have time - I don't know what to tell you to do in this situation. It's up to you. If you decided to go with him and things went wrong, you could always give a lame apology to him and leave - at least you would have tried to attend this gig.

I perfectly understand it when you say that you don't know his intentions. He might want "something" with you and this thought scares the hell out of you.

Look, I've got to tell you something about this, which is a bit similar. I'd love to go to the Summercase festival, which lasts only 2 days and there's no camping area (this means I could go to sleep at my home).

Since I wanted to go there so badly but I had no-one to go with, I wrote a comment on the official forum of this festival saying: "Contact me if you want to go to this festival and you've got no-one to go with". A few days later I got a pm of a guy, who's from Barcelona and is 23 and is in the same situation than me: he doesn't know anyone to go with. So we have been pm-ing each other these days, but the thought of him wanting more from me scares me... I just need company, someone with who I could share the experience, but not an affair or whatever else.

good to know. you shouldn't be bad because you had problems to be accepted there.. many people have problems with those things at first, but they succed :D and i think that those 'try' exams use to be harder than the real one, to make you work harder, because on a exam you should get a bit of tension to be concentrate on the task, imo.

 

same here, so i don't know what to do.. he is being very kind with me, gives me things that i even don't ask him to give me. oh may be i'm a bit stupid for this spring. i really want to go and i don't know if i'll can, i wanted to have more free time this last time of the term, to go out and stuff but it only last me 6 weeks to be here and i'll have to do my presentations quite soon, and it also makes me be nervous... well may be go out is a relax... but still this thing of coming back that late.. :uhoh: is risky for the road i guess, and plus he'll had to spend on it the double...

i'm doing fine, weather is better today. :) sunlight, that i've been missing so much.

i'll have to 'skip' a lecture today, as at the same time i have portuguese lessons. (i had told that to the lecturer and there's no problem about it). (right now i'm in class, we are working on our works and attending the lecture on a screen in class at the same time. :D that's cool).

i kept writing. (even i had 'devoted' a poem to a street from here hehe) but i could hardly slept tonight as someone was talking until late (nearly 2am or so :uhoh:) in the kitchen yesterday night :confused:

here them are noisy sometimes, sometimes it feels like if it were a kindergarden and not a college :P but is cool how they teach here (different than in my place in Spain :uhoh:)

i just came from Palacio do Gelo, (where i use to go to do shopping, but it was only opened the Jumbo supermarket), they had opened the second phase, that is all the rest of the building this last monday (week before the present one).. and is so huge and very beaufiul, many open spaces, fountains, very ilumianted, resting areas, and a lot of shops. it has 5 floors :stunned: i walked through all them :D and i went to the FNAC, lol i almost get lost just in there.

 

i've been looking music in general.. they have record players, and vynils :D.. but although i had looked for Fonseca, Rita Redshoes and Silence 4, i saw none ot them, just Humanos (album and the live dvd)

my dad should come here one day, many music that he likes is half the cost as it has in Spain :surprised: (Pink Floyd, TAPP, Kraftwerk..)..

 

at first i was about to buy: Muse (Origin of Symmetry) and Placebo (Meds), but nah, i turned Placebo and i bought Radiohead (OK Computer), my first Radiohead album ever :cheesy:

I was tempted to had bought Nirvana, Joy Division, Jeff Buckley and Matisyahu... i'd like i could had spend lot so money there lol, a paradise. Btw the Muse new DVD was played all the time, but it was too expensive for me :P it costs the double of what i had spent today.

'accidentally' my had has investigated the guy... and for our pre-last convo, between this guy and i, things got cleared... i think he already has a girlfriend so his intentions is just to be friends with me... so although i should feel bad, 'cause my feelings aren't answered.. but i feel good anyways. :)

 

he seems a nice guy then, he has been telling me many amazing things (hey all are like a big family that use to meet together previously to the concerts and make appointment among them and stuff, which i find so cool).. showed me pictures and even a video... so now i really want to go to that concert (although i don't know how many people from there will go, and i only 'know' this boy and who i think that is his gf), i find quite curious that the first day i talk to him, next day with her and lol none of them had told me about them dating or something (i hadn't asked either... but... i'm sure that you are trying to get it makes sense now, Iris, but believe me it makes sense).

 

lol i don't make sense myself those days, i don't know what happens to me lol..

 

but the good news is that i'm ok. better than what i thought. :)

 

btw i went to FNAC (the whole Mall Palacio do Gelo) and bought two albums :dance:

 

(there was no Fonseca /Rita Redshoes/Silence 4 :cry:, but it was great).
