Apart from finding out by complete accident,

that the so called friend of mine that said he can not come to the radiohead gig as he was going to be in Moroco will be back on Monday...

 

Total Liar ... I am really upset, I was a little upset in the first place for him saying for me to buy the ticket, then he said he could not go as he was going on Holiday, but he would have been back...

 

I really dont like liars and I now have real doubts wiether he is a true friend or not... what question baffles me is why ??

Hey, don't worry about it. These things happen in life and we can't avoid them, we can just hope that they won't happen to us. It was terrible to see his girlfriend so desperate, though. But yeah, as Ari said, hopefully the weekend is going to be much better :)

 

I do agree with you, Daryl, I don't like liars at all. There's no point in telling you to buy a ticket for him if he knows that he'll be on holiday the day that Radiohead is performing. And he didn't pay the ticket. I wouldn't trust him if I were you, I mean, by the way he's been acting towards you, he isn't a good friend.

No he never knew he was going on Holiday before.

It was after I had brought the ticket, he went to Moroco, then he said he could not come as he will be there.

 

But he is back on Monday, the gig... is on Thursday. In my eyes that makes matters even worse

do something good this weekend Iris...

do something good for someone, look for people that need help for example a mother struggling with her babies pushchair on the metro with the stairs.

oh, sorry! I misunderstood you then. I thought he knew he was going on holiday by then! Anyway, if in the end he said he wouldn't be able to come, at least he could have paid the ticket and try to sell it to someone else, because you did him a favour buying him the ticket. BUT if he's here on Thursday he could go and see Radiohead, right?

 

I'll do something good this weekend Daryl. But yeah, I kinda felt like doing something for someone else without expecting anything in return, of course.

I've been thinking about coming to the quiz and yeah, I reckon it might be a good idea to come with you on Monday! At first I thought it wasn't because of the exams I'm taking next week but... nah, I'll probably be able to study better if I unwind myself from time to time too.

 

In fact it wasn't that hard to meet your friends since all of them were nice, the thing is that there was no-one but you, me and Chris and in a sudden they all turned up and I didn't expect it! So it was kinda surprising for me! :lol:
