Coldplay brought their Twisted Logic tour to São Paulo yesterday for a sold out concert at Via Funchal. The band asked all bars inside the arena to close 15 minutes prior to the show, not allowing any further sales of alcoholic drinks. Rodrigo Santoro and girlfriend Ellen Jabour [pictured] were there. Basshunter's album Now You're Gone managed to oust Coldplay from the top of the UK album chart, after five consecutive weeks at number one. This week 331,000 copies of Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends were sold wordwide and the record still remains the biggest selling release across the world, with 3,554,000 copies of the album having been sold. 1,081,000 downloads of the single Viva La Vida have also been recorded. Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall scooped the prize for best song on Thursday at the 51st Ivor Novello music awards for British composers. Coldplay's gig at the Filaforum in Milan were given an added bonus on the setlist - Trouble and Shiver. Trouble was played for the first time on the current Twisted Logic tour.
