  1. No to all guesses so far...It has to do with Glastonbury ("festival", "Worthy"), yes, but the father and daughter are not Michael and Emily Eavis. Think about the covers ("covered") Coldplay have done at Glastonbury. When you get what I mean it will all make sense :)
  2. no to all of them... :( It has nothing to do with Gwyneth or Everglow either, so I'm afraid the hints are not interpreted correctly..
  3. I think you got the hidden clues but not the right father-daughter pair... There is another one connected with what I was pointing at, and what you wrote.
  4. no.... Hint: Hidden clues in the wording of the posts No. 5301, 5305, 5308 and 5310.
  5. I don't mean any offence by saying this, but I have to put it like this: None of the guesses so far is even Worthy of pursuing further.
  6. University College London
  7. Seems we're having a big festival of guesses from all eras at the moment, but sadly, no correct guess so far.
  8. You just want somebody listening to what you say.... Sorry to hear. Hang in there, I hope it the stressful period will be over at some point.
  9. It's not related to Phil, no worries. But you still haven't covered all the possibilities :)
  10. Oh....work-related again ? :( I can relate to that line too at the moment...
  11. sseldoolb|revolution
  12. Ich versuchte zu singen, aber ich konnte mir nichts ausdenken Everything I know is wrong Everything I do, it just comes undone Everything is torn apart
  13. Why on earth this person did not make one video out of all those snippets, your guess is as good as mine (but still interesting):
  14. Finally availabe in decent quality again: The X&Y Storytellers session. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6blCFC8ywc Mobile Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6blCFC8ywc By the way, dear fellow Oldplayers....please don't let this thread die ! Post finds of interesting videos, audios or interviews from the olden times, or just discuss anything about the earlier albums and songs :)
  15. Oh. I wish he had stayed, then. If he had stayed, we would probably have gotten something closer in feel to VLVODAAHF - still not as good as the first three, but at least better than the MX we have now.
  16. Interesting, what turbulent relationship ?
  17. Ah ok, at first i thought you meant the influence Guy had on the production.
  18. interesting idea, but not what I meant. Hm. I don't think you have covered all possibilities yet...
  19. Surely you mean Guy as a producer, not Will, right ? I have to disagree there. I think production and instrumentation of the first three albums are superior. They are layered as well, but much more subtly. Parachutes for example has a warm organic sound as well blend of bass lines and drums that I have yet to hear in any other album. A Rush of Blood To The Head upon careful listening reveals many layers (more than Parachutes), but they individually are less obvious and harmonize so well that they create this unique soundscape (I suspect the use of pads in the background is to a large part responsible for it). Without commenting anything about the style and just judging production, I have to say that Mylo Xyloto and AHFOD mostly fall flat to my ears (some particularly negative examples in that regard: DLIBYH and Army of One). Out of the three last albums, I think Ghost Stories has the neatest production. You could argue that instrumentation got more diverse, that's for sure. But in my opinion it did not get superior over time.
