  1. I prefer the curls to the "convict haircut" of the AROBTTH Era but still, for me this is the perfect one:
  2. Don't listen to Yellow very often out of the context of Parachutes, and hat forgotten how upbeat it can make you feel !
  3. Haha I know I'm terrible but there is just too many Coldplay lyrics floating in my head...
  4. LOL. But you know, I miss the early X&Y Era haircut in these photos. It was the best imho !
  5. It's indeed about "We Never Change" and I have to admit that's a really great guess ! Unfortunately it's not the line I thought of. There is another Coldplay song referring to this... Keep on guessing :D
  6. No... John Lennon (solo) ?
  7. haha, nevermind :) I just like to point it put because I find that many people in online forums just assume you're a guy and are often surprised when it's not the case :)
  8. Beatles - Norwegian Wood
  9. Love this line !
  10. I know it's a minor point, but put an S in front of that :P
  11. Sorry to see you go, Sparky ! I only read now that you saved the forums some years ago. Thanks you did a great job with this forum !!!
  12. Today I rediscovered the beauty of Yellow !
  13. It's popular among my "minus" votes in this thread ;)
  14. This thread still exists ? :)
  15. Your English is fine, don't worry ! I meant the common misconception that loving Oldplay means loving only sad and melancholic songs. Some Newplayers are quick to accuse you that you don't like the new Coldplay just because the new songs aren't sad anymore. But that is not true - Oldplay had many upbeat songs too (Viva La Vida, Crests Of Waves, Life In Technicolor ii, Yellow, Lovers In Japan)
  16. + I Ran Away 19 Princess Of China 10 Spies 11 - Til Kingdom Come 3 Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground 9 ASFOS 6
  17. I like LiTii too. So energetic and inspiring. But talk again about Oldplay only having sad songs...
  18. No, not Trouble....
  19. The contradiction is in the lyrics, the original assertion in the title...
  20. Yeah, and it sometimes comes in the disguise of people deliberately closing their eyes to the fact that Coldplay's recent output is just not on par with there earlier one. I found Archiderp's opinion to be perfectly legit. Guess we were all disappointed when we found out that the album didnt have any Indian/psychedelic influnences as we initially thought.
  21. Oh sorry, I misunderstood that. I meant Parachutes (album), and here is another clue that will hopefully make it easy: The assertion is in a song title there. Not ASFOS...
  22. A mashup, that sounds interesting. Never saw Coldplay do a mashup before with the exception of the Viva Tour's The Hardest Part/PFFA and the techno version GPASUYF/Talk mashup.
