===The ultimate Oldplaying Thread===S, BS, TBR, P, AROBTTH, X&Y, VLV, PM===
I honestly wouldn't compare AOAL to Imagine Dragons. Their first album was mainly dark Alt. Rock with heavy base drums, and well... their second album is just a mess of an album lazily trying to combine too many genres in one album. But my point is, Imagine Dragons isn't THAT pop/mainstream (or at least not as much as Maroon 5). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I guess I should reword my original statement to something more simple. They simply make better things at every other (or even number) album. Chris was at the top of his game in terms of lyricism during the AROBTTH era. X&Y was certainly more "ordinary" when compared to the rest of their discography. They made an extraordinary art rock/baraque pop album with VLVODAAHF. With Mylo Xyloto, they focused more on pop and "getting on the radio" or so to speak (even if there was some experimentation involved). Excluding ASFOS, they didnt care about this with Ghost Stories and made some great ambient music. For AHFOD, they came back to pop and "getting on the radio" once again. I have a theory: What if Coldplay try to experiment and create more artistic and creative music more often in every OTHER album. Their 2nd, 4th, and 6th album involved some sort of experimentation. Their 3rd, 5th, and 7th album didn't really have them focus on creating masterpieces more than just making songs (I dont think Parachutes counts because it's their debut album). X&Y was a good album, but had the most problems out of all the "oldplay" albums. Even the band didn't think it was their "best". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I absolutely love M83! They've become one of my all time favorite bands. Their music just so powerful and atmospheric. I especially love their 2011 release "Hurry Up We're Dreaming" (Which is also one of my favorite albums of all time). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It may seem like a cash crab, but I think that's how AHFOD should be experienced. Especially the title track, Birds, Everglow, Army Of One, and Amazing Day (The last one especially). It'd be great if incredible atmosphere albums like M83's Hurry Up We're Dreaming were released in that format. It would bless my ears. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think it's alright. But this "Tropical House" remix sounds kind of poorly mixed. I think people like Kygo (who made an EXCELLENT Midnight remix) should remix the song. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In addition to Chris Martin's Collab with the Chainsmokers, Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic is also working on a collab with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A car engine is part of a car. A car radio is also part of a car. Car Radio is the name of a song by twenty one pilots. twenty one pilots are on the record label Fueled By Ramen. Fueled By Ramen is a sublabel of Warner Music Group, a label that Coldplay is on as well. Parmesan cheese Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

True. It's a departure from the artistic artwork of 2013's Native. But, the songs released so far are arguably their best produced songs yet. Plus, their electronic influences arrived on time since I've been getting into the Dream/Synth/Electro Pop (Such as M83) genre as of lately. Expecting the best out of Oh My My.
