This isnt as relevant to the AHFOD era, but Chris said in the Zane interview that he worked with french Electronic Producer Madeon, who happens to be one of my favorite electronic artists of all time, that was too upbeat for the album. Its around minute 9 in this video: So I was thinking, could this track make it onto the new EP? I really hope so because I would love to here this collaboration in particular. Avicii shouldnt have done ASFOS. Madeon is 100 times better both musically and creatively and I think he would've given the track alot more justice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've been listening to a lot of synthpop lately, like CHVRCHES and Grimes. Grimes' latest album Art Angels is nothing short of a masterpiece. Love her style and and the weirdness she puts into her music. Makes for an interesting listen. CHVRCHES are known for using synthesizers in their music and they remind me of a pop x&y. Now THAT is a Coldplay that I would absolutely love. Maybe even a little 90's dance pop/trance. I can really see coldplay going into this direction. Electronic 80's and 90's synths with an exotic rock and modern twist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think its time I give another ranking of the albums. WARNING: My rating WILL BE controversial, so please take it lightly. 1. Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends (10/10) Worst song: None 2. A Rush of Blood To The Head (10/10) Worst song: None 3. Ghost Stories (9/10) Worst Song: A Sky Full Of Stars ^ This album is just incredible. The overall ambient atmosphere is something I could listen to all night. I dont know why the hell people were complaining about this album. 4. A Head Full of Dreams (8/10) Worst Song: X Marks The Spot ^ This album has grown on me not only personally (being that it was my first album that I've been anticipating as a Coldplay fan up to its release), but on a critical scale. Listening to the 192khz version of this album has given me a new look on what Coldplay were trying to create. Stargate really isnt all that bad, its just that the standard version of the album is too muddy for my taste. 5. Parachutes (8/10) Worst Song If I HAD TO CHOOSE: Parachutes 6. Mylo Xyloto (7/10) Worst Song(s): Princess of China; the unnecessary ETIAW and DLITYH interludes 7. X&Y (6.5/10) Worst Song(s): A Message; The Hardest Part; Swallowed in the Sea (second half) ^ This album has become my least favorite Coldplay album for 2 reasons: 1. They failed to stick with their overall spacey and kraftwerk-inspired electronic theme in this album. You look at songs like A Message and The Hardest Part and they simply dont fit with the rest of the album at all. Swallowed In The Sea at least has an atmospheric interlude part that at least fits with the theme. This is why I am having so much fun editing this album. 2. The song quality seems like a step down from AROBTTH. They seem a lot more generic when you look at it thoroughly, especially the overall song structures. Now I understand why the band hate this album. They honestly could have done a better job. Anyway, these are just my opinions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The new song is not of Chris Martin or Ryan Tedder. Its going to feature an indie group called XOXØ (I think they are called). The rest of the tracks are just their previously released songs (All We Know, Closer, Inside Out, and Dont Let Me Down). A bit disappointed, but the more time spent on it the better.
