This guy puts out very solid videos. This one is called "Why Do People Love To Hate Coldplay?" You guys should check it out and it should explain some of the unnecessary hate they get.

I can agree with @strawberrytom on FOB. Don't get me wrong, Patrick Stump's vocals on American Beauty/American Psycho are really good, I even heard critics call it the best of his yet. But their music wont be remembered as well as Coldplay's. They are merely music for teens.

It would go like this: Dear Coldplay, Pop is shit. Most of the stuff on AHFOD is pretty much shit (with some exceptions). Stargate is for shit music makers. Don't be shit. Thanks! ~ Coldplaying

Careful Where You Stand

Think about it. The melody of the verses and chorus, especially that acoustic guitar bit with chris singing. Like I said, the instrumental is great. That part definitely does not make it generic. But, it's the melody.

People saying they were boring, people saying they were ripping off U2. Ya know, the usual stuff.

You have to look past the instrumental. Just think about the melody.

I'll widen the range guys, because apparently the similarities are not being seen. Fun sounds like a completely generic pop song from teenage-ish girl pop artists like Taylor Swift, Tove Lo, Katy Perry (what I mean by this is that Fun is a generic teen song). EDIT: Thanks to you guys, I have Last Friday Night stuck in my head... NOT COOL

Im sorry, but if you listen to the verse and chorus' on Fun, it's so dang similar to one of those Taylor Swift songs. I cant name it off the top of my head, but I've heard something like that before. Quite cheesy for Coldplay to do imo. However, I do praise the instrumental. The ambient electric guitar work is awesome.

Are you serious? Sometimes being too humble isn't good. Taking legal actions against this isn't disrespectful. If this is an official shirt, then they've gotta at least do something.
