I really have no idea whether it has been said or has even been noticed. But, Coldplay did play Christmas Lights without any backingtracks last Tuesday ! To be honest, I think CL plus its backingtracks do really express that Christmas atmosphere(?). Anyway, Christmas Lights without backingtracks, you'll see in the next video, is still beautiful though. You really hear the Coldplay sound, you know... By the way, Jonny made a ''huge'' mistake at some point haha (so does Chris with his lyrics and so does Will!) Jonny was literally ''Singing out of tune'' lol. You'll see. But maybe you've already seen this, I guess it shouldn't be a surprise anymore then :D

Yeah I heard this song before, I love it, especially that guitar riff!

I'm also not a big fan of it either. I was actually disappointed to see that they also scrapped Jonny's solo off the song. They shouldn't have done that. I think it would've been better if Jonny just played his solo in the video. (I prefer not to see Chris performing this alone) But they at least have put Mohammed Ali in it. Not that I am a big fan of his but this shows how much respect they have for him and that's nice. We'll get the Everglow video anyway, right?
