Thanks for clearing it up. Yeah if it wasn't a hoax there'd be much more pics of it. There was only one pic of it which was rumored to be from Indonesia, but it turned out it was from Ghost Stories as the guy two comments above me mentions. It all makes sense now. In other news I'm like so excited for the album I keep refreshing this page every 5 seconds when I'm not posting a comment in case there's any news or anything. You know it'll happen eventually which makes it fun. :P Lol :thumbsup:

Lol for a second I was going to have a heart attack. Because I thought you said that "Coldplay gave us the audio of the single while the music video is being edited!" But I guess if that was the case this forum would have been crashed already. I thought about it for a second, why the forum wasn't exploding if they gave us the audio of the single already. Then I reread your comment and noticed you said give instead of gave as if you were asking Coldplay to release the audio at least of the new single already. I get it now. My bad :P

Beat me to it lol I completely agree with that. And 2) is what seems to be the case with MX. It does feel a little overproduced in that sense... however it still remains one of my fav albums to date. The songs are just so amazing IMO. But it'd be much, much better without the overproduction. If they haven't had overproduced it then it would have been miles better... now with AHFOD it's looking a lot like MX but I don't think they'll overproduce it. IMO AHFOD is going to be what MX could have been: the uplifting, upbeat songs of MX, but not overproduced. At least I hope that's what it is if it is to be related in any way to MX. If I had a dream like that I'd freak out when I woke up lol

Well I'm back, went through the next 15 pages and it seems pretty good so far :D I can't believe it.... it's happening! :D The thing with this is that it's all "could". That's all it's been. "This could be out tommorow" "This coult be out in a month" etc. This "could" be out by next Friday. I do agree though. I really hope it's true.

I see what your saying.... yeah I don't want Coldplay to go too mainstream. I still like ASFOS but I'm cool if you don't like it. It's fine with me. Yeah EDM definetely isn't for everyone. I like how Coldplay's trying new things though. They seem to do it every album and since I have a wide taste of music I really am enjoying what Coldplay makes out of it. :) I like a few dancey mainstream songs but I really wouldn't like it if Coldplay turned into the kind that always did them. I really want them to keep trying new things. It's really made a lot of people like them. IMO I'm really enjoying all the different stuff they're trying and putting their own twist on it. For me what they usually come out with when they're experimenting and trying new things is really original and creative, I really like it. But as I said before, obviously it isn't for everyone. I really hope AHFOD doesn't follow all the dancey mainstream stuff though. That we can agree on. But I really like what the new pics are showing us. It seems like a very promising album... I can't wait to see what they come up with, I'm sure it'll be great! :P

I agree with Midnight. It's amazing. Magic is sort of that low-tone poppy song and I know it's definetiely not for everyone. I personally am fine with it. But.. ASFOS? What do you find wrong with that? It's a GS-type song (which I know isn't for everyone) and it's also very uplifting. I don't see why you don't like it. But I do respect your opinion. It's fine if you don't like it. I just don't see why you don't like it. I love it! I love nearly every one of Coldplay's songs. Yes, some are better than others, but I do not hate any Coldplay song. Also, if you're scared about this being a GS-type album, it's not. Coldplay's said that this album will be more upbeat. So if anyone doesn't like GS, there's no evidence of a repeat in AHFOD. It's most likely going to be something new that lots of people will enjoy. I like the pictures so far. If you have a problem with GS you're probably going to find some light at least in the new album because it's not going to have a lot of similarities to it. I myself like GS, it's my third-fav album from Coldplay, But I love the new upbeat-ness that seems to be coming. I think there's many reasons to be excited. Something new's from Coldplay very soon. It's going to be great. I can feel it. I know because I love every single of Coldplay's albums. :D

Here's my opinion on the whole big deal with people getting scared of what this next album might be. All we've seen are a few pictures that weren't even taken by Coldplay. These pics do hint to something colorful but we haven't even heard most of the music yet. We've just seen the tip of the iceberg so far. We have too little info to fully conclude this is going to be an MX 2.0. I find it weird actually, because these people were complaining about waiting 10 months for AHFOD to come out, and now they're complaining because there's new pics. I just don't get that. Why not just enjoy it? I'm not sure if I'm the only one that absolutely loves MX on here. Am I? What's bad about MX? Yes, it was a little overproduced. Yes, they overpolshed it a bit. But those are things to be expected from every album. I'm not talking about that specifically but I'm talking about that in every album, 999 times out of 1000 there's going to be at least some little mistakes in it. Why single out MX? There's flaws in every album. But the albums are still pretty awesome. And that's what counts. Enjoy what you can. Why not? It's Coldplay. Whatever they come up with is awesome. And even if you still am disagreeing with this post and saying "Oh, MX is terrible, this is going to be a horrible album that's coming up here" Well here's some better news: if you've known Coldplay for a long time you know that they're never going to do the same thing twice. It's just not them. They want to experiment. They want to try new things. That's a part of being a band. You've got to try new things. Why not enjoy it? Whatever this new album is, it's most likely going to be amazing. If you're going to harshly criticize this album, wait until it actually comes out. Don't start critiziing it just from seeing a few pictures. You've got to wait and see the news developing. Afterwards, criticize it all you want. I personally think I'm going to love this album. Maybe even more than MX. But please, it's just like complaining about a present because of it's packaging (bad example, I know, but hopefully you get my point). All in all, the point is, look. Just relax. We've only seen a little bit. Enjoy the news that's developing, but please don't start complaining already from a few pictures. It's just the tip of the iceberg, and who knows what the rest of the album is like. It could be something entirely different. Try to envision it as a "glass half-full". See? They actually have real guitars and real drums. Why not be cheerful about that? It may resemble MX, but for those of you who aren't into the synthpop stuff of GS you should try to focus on that. At least they're going back to real instruments (or there's signs of it, anyway). Again, try to make the best of it. I know I said it like 10 times now but this is just my view of it. I personally would love another MX. I already enjoyed the original MX so I wouldn't mind if there was another colorful album. But I'm just trying to say, try to cheer up. It's not the end of the world. It's just a few pictures. If you don't like MX, don't worry, every album that Coldplay's ever made has been different. It's not the end of the world. MX really isn't that bad, is it? It's cheerful music. We've heard reports of one of those stadium-filling epic Coldplay anthems. Those are awesome! There's lots to be excited about. Let's enjoy what Coldplay's coming up with! It'll be great. Believe me. Sorry about this long rant. Just needed to get that out there.

I remember Coldplay mentioning that this album would be more uplifting than GS. Now it very much seems that way since every thing seems so strikingly similar to MX... it's most likely gonna be an MX 2.0 which I am really excited for. I also saw one of the pics with the jacket with the logos that Chris was wearing that covered up his shirt. All we could see from his shirt was spelling "ound A" in MX format. We could obviously clearly see the logos that as we know are very similar to the MX era. For me this is really exciting. When Coldplay has an official word on AHFOD and if they say a release date this forum's most likely going to crash. :D

I agree, for example especially in a situation like Coldplay where they haven't said much regarding AHFOD since the interview. if you post a pic that has one tiny little hint of something that might be linked to the new album it's going to be shared like crazy and everyone's going to get super excited. And that's especially true as of now, I took a look back at the thread lots of pages ago and I saw that the people then were finding the tiniest bits of anything that may be linked to AHFOD and were really excited for an official word. TBH when I was following the forum at that time (I wasn't registered yet but I was reading along) I was really excited as well. When you've been waiting 10 months for something you really want you're hungry for more info. Ever since that one guy posted a picture of Chris in a jacket with two logos that very likely have something to do with AHFOD this thread exploded (and so did I). I just can't wait for more news on this! :D

You're correct, Rik Simpson on Twitter replied to a Tweet that said "can you explain this" with one of the pictures that have been rumored to have something to do with AHFOD (and that pic probably does have something to do with it). and he said that he could if he wanted to but he wouldn't and that "All will become clear". It's really exciting because you know he's thinking of it... :)

Well just a few minutes ago I was reading a few pages back on the thread and when I saw someone posted possible new artwork/logos relating to AHFOD I like screamed lol. I was so excited! I decided to finally join in on this thread... (more like a party) and enjoy the news flooding in as well! Hopefully there's an official word soon... just can't wait! :laugh3:
