I Heard Coldplay for the first time when I heard Viva la Vida. At that time it was by far the best, most beautiful thing I've ever heard. I soon learned it was by Coldplay and when I played a couple other of there songs and I was amazed. So I listened to more and more of it and decided I was a fan. This was around 2008-09ish by the way. Despite me joining the forum here in September 2015. I didnt really even know about this site all that much until I really looked at it around this time, saw the LP7 thread and decided to join. Before I would come on here very rarely, not really look at any of the forum too too much so I was unaware of all the excitement here! =D

Sorry about that! If you like I could stop doing them (or put them in a spoiler so you wouldn't have to scroll through them). I have two reasons why I do this: 1. To kind of get back to everyone and everything I missed. Putting multiple quotes IMO makes it clear as possible to see what I mean. 2. People really don't seem to appreciate double-posting here so instead of making multiple posts I put them all into one comments. But that's okay if you want me to stop, or use a spoiler, or something. :P

I was watching one of those movie ad things on TV and one of things it said was "It was... a rush of blood to the head" xD I actually really don't think I've heard any dream funnier or weirder or crazier than that before lol

You know what I completely agree with you. The posts here at Coldplaying so far have been right on point and very easy to understand. So I really don't think it's the biggest problem as of right now. The thing is, those two songs you mentioned are completely different deals so of course I'd never believe you. But with the other post there's some validity in it since it'd make sense if there was a song sounding in between two songs like VLV and ETIAW. Now I do agree with you in the sense that they could be making something up. It's easy to just say something and people believe it to be true because they trust you. So those claims aren't entirely trustable either. However, it does make more sense for a song to be a cross between VLV and ETIAW but not True Love and PoC. There's a higher probability that the former claim is true than the latter one. But your point still remains valid because again as I said before it's extremely easy to lie on the Internet because no one can see your face while you're talking anyway, and they can't hear your voice. Those two things are big giveaways when someone is lieing, and in text unless the other person purposefully puts it there to make it seem funny or sarcastic or whatever you'll never tell the difference, except if it just looks silly.

Wow! It's getting difficult already! :P Difficult decision between Til Kingdom Come and A Message which are IMO not as good as the other songs still in the competition (Now don't flame me for saying that please. They're still very good songs. I just said their not as good as the others on the list). I tihnk A Message is just a little more bland... I vote A Message

I'm back yet again! I understand that people will compare this album to older albums. That's life. That's a part of being a fan or a critic. You're going to take what you know and compare it to past eras. It's human nature. But we certainly shouldn't complain about it if we only have unofficial imagery. It's fine to compare but we shouldn't be full out whining already. Also, you don't have to write a sociological thesis. It's okay to relax and share you're opinion. But if the quality of posts is at least a little bit decent it'll make reading them a whole lot easier than if you make spelling errors and mistakes all everywhere and don't at least have a little explanation and organization in your thoughts. Just a little bit. You don't have to overdo it. All I'm saying is if you have a bit of decent quality in your posts, everything's good. It's not like an essay where you have to get everything right and have tons and tons of info. Just a little bit of effort in posts is all I was saying because it'll make it easier for you and many other fans to read. I'm back, yet again. See now you've got the point. It's okay if people are saying that this might be closer to MX but you shouldn't be complaining about it. Someone please tell me how I can like a post multiple times. If there was any time I'd do it it'd be on this post. There's still a chance, but don't get your hopes up or you may be dissapointed. As I have said before I'm not going to put up any real expectations so it can just happen and I can go crazy when audio's released. It'd be great if it was up tomorrow but I'm not expecting anything Sweet! That's going to be great! I'm going to hear live what they've came up with! :D

I agree, there's only so many sounds and songs and different melodies you can come up with, some days undoubtedly one artist is going to get an idea that someone else already came up with. But usually these ideas are used differently and usually make something new. As for the lyrics I see what you mean, and the lyrics "tired and underprepared", while vague, it's actually great that it's vague because then you can attach your own meaning onto it to make it mean more to the listener personally. And that's what I like about the Coldplay songs that dno't really have specific lyrics. I throw my own personal meanings and thoughts onto them all the time which IMO gives the listener a better experience knowing they can connect it to their personal life. That's a part of why Coldplay has been so great for so long and fans have stayed. I like what Coldplay's doing there. :P I don't see us waiting more than up to the iHeart festival. It's very unlikely Coldplay would go there with no new content to showcase. :P There is a very slim chance you're right though, and I so hope that's not the case. Personally that's one thing I'm doing right now. I'm not saying "For Sure tomorrow's going to be the big day!" I certainly hope that but I'm not overthinking the release date or anything. I'm just going to let it happen and not have any expectations whatsoever so when the time does come I'll smash my monitor in excitement. (okay, not really, but you get what I'm saying here). I'm so liking this post. People need to stop complaining about an album that hasn't even had any official photos been released yet. The only official news on this album was released on that one interview and that Coldplay timeline so far as of right now and to my knowledge anyways. As for Wednesday's photos resembling MX, nothing has been confirmed that those outfits will be a thing throughout the album. It may just be for that one thing they're doing. We haven't even heard a single yet and people still just judge the album off of a few unofficial photos. For the people who hate MX and everything to do with it, calm down, because those are unofficial photos and nothin's been confirmed about those outfits yet by Coldplay. I heard from one guy back lots of pages that when they went there, the place was just amazing. It was so surreal he really couldn't put it into words. I think this album's going to be great. Just calm down. We haven't heard one second of actual music yet so even if it appears colorful it may be a whole different deal than MX. Some people just don't like it because it's overproduced and overpolished, That is true in some songs, but not so much in others. I'm pretty sure Coldplay's learning from what they did wrong in the past and I'm pretty sure they're going to do an even better job this time. If this does end up being a repeat of MX 2.0 (which is most likely not to happen since each and every one of Coldplay's albums has been different so far, which is yet another reason people need to stop complaining) I'm pretty sure it's going to be what MX could have been: the same upbeat and uplifting songs, without the overproduction, as I've said once in the past. All in all, just calm down everyone who's complaining about the new album. They've never done the same thing twice and it's likely this won't be a complete repeat of MX. It's probably going to be even better so we'll just have to wait and see. :P

I thnk he zoomed in a ton and made out the best of it that he could... btw I could only see what he was talking about until you zoomed it in a little bit onto him. Took me a minute to find it :P

I'm back. I agree. I really like it. One of the best CP songs IMO but it's not their most original song by any means. It makes up for the lyrics lol. Yeah, ASFOS was an exceptional case because they did everything live in real time hence why it didn't take so long to come out. We don't know anything about the production pf this new most likely music video except that actually getting the footage was rather quick which is a good sign. Either way, we should expect something decently soon. And I agree with the iHeart thing. It isn't big enough for what Coldplay did. Coldplay most likely wouldn't have gone through the trouble of taking a long plane flight for just something like iHeart. Whatever the case it's likely that iHeart will show probably a new single that Coldplay's made. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't go to a place like iHeart if they weren't going to be showcasing new material. Let's just see what happens.... :P I agree with your first statement. The lead singles usually give at least a slight idea of how the album will sound but it usually isn't the best of the whole album. It's something to generate hype and excitement for the album knowing how at least it'll sound a little bit. Not sayin' it's bad, it's actually a pretty awesome song. I'd argue that In My Place might be the best from AROBTTH but that may be a strech since you have The Scientist and Clocks which are both amazing... I completely agree. I would be fine to have the audio right tomorrow if it meant we had to wait a few more weeks for the music video. The single is the most important thing right now. Many people are judging this album way too early just because it slightly resembles MX. People need to calm down and listen to the single when it comes out before complaining. You shouldn't be actually complaining about something you have mostly no idea about. :P IMO this is now the most exciting portion of our wait. We know it's going to be this week most likely, but we don't know when. It could be out tomorrow and the forum could crash. Or they could debut it at the festival.
