man i love that man. if he wasn't 2139943939 years older than me i would go to germany and marry him. daj, i read in the newspaper today that the english referee who did the croatia-aussie game has been sent home by fifa, and is doing no more world cup refereeing this tournament because he didn't send off simunic as he got 3 yellow cards. fifa said that :confused: and that he missed 2 penalties that australia should have got, therefore he got sent home. fifa said it was unbelievable he didn't realise he gave simunic 3 yellow's, and the referee himself watched the game on dvd afterwards and realised he had made so many mistakes... :confused: do you know anything about this? i'm so confused. did he get 3 yellow's or not?

ohhhh i seee. sorry about that, i thought that he was given 3 and so i was angry, but he wasn't, i apologise. ;) as for the teams guarding each other, i don't really agree there. i know both sides were physical, but from the very first second, they were guarding viduka sooo much, it was way too full on. i mean that bit where i can't remember the croat's name, but he tackled viduka with his hand around his stomach, full on, where he was trying to score, and it wasn't fouled. ;) but i know, both teams were physical. but thanks, it was a fantastic game, it was so nerve-wracking, and both teams would have deserved to go through. :)

what sort of sportsmanship is that, though? you have two yellow cards. you should be suspended for not walking off if a ref doesn't remember. seriously, it's horrible. but yes, amazzzzziiiinnng game. i HATED how much the cro's were guarding viduka though, it was horrible. that one instance where he was BLATANTLY holding him, that was pure rubbish football. great game, great side, great country. gosh i love this place.

i knowwwwwww! i was furious! 3 yellow cards. if he scored after his second yellow, my gosh that referee would have been mobbed by the australians. really, that was terrible refereeing. and the 2 hand balls by tomas! that should have been ANOTHER penalty for aus. really i'm disappointed with that referee. but man, what an exciting match, 2 red cards, 4 goals, and a amazing goal by croatia in the 2nd minute. wow that was a mind blower. :o butttt GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AUSTRALIAAAA!
