i don't think so. i was looking forward to watching the brazil games, once i heard they were in the same group as aus. i thought they were going to be impossible to beat and everything, but really, they're playing so damn average, they have no spark on their side. their games bore me, and even though australia played average today too, they're not the world champions. this is the first time they've played in the world cup in 30 something years. brazil are supposed to be the defending champions. :dozey: nothing but a boring team to me. and they're probably not going to try against japan. why would they? they're already through. :dozey: the only reason they WOULD try is because they wouldn't want japan going through. the other option is playing really shit so australia might not get through. i don't know. they bore me so muchhhhh it hurts to watch them :cry:

theatrics on the pitch piss me off, but hey it's a part of the game. there would be no penalties otherwise. no fouls. no yellow cards. no red's.

i agree daj. there were so many opportunities, about 6 full on attempts in the 2nd half, that were so damn close. bresciano's side on kick was great, viduka's header, all so close. and brazil didn't even look that motivated. to be honest, the game bore me. the japanese-australia game was so much more exciting, both teams WANTED to win. brazil lack the passion, they just bore me...

i think it's pretty silly to assess who played better on the amount of goals scored? ;) goals are important. obviously. but the quality of the game/side should not be based on the goals.
