definitely. but ... how can they create such a HUGE illusion? these countries... america, russia, israel. the occupier is always seen as the one who is right, and the one fighting for independence/freedom is the one's seen as wrong, or seen as the terrorists? :confused: it makes no sense. but then again nothing seems to be making any sense these days.

sometimes when i'm slaving away (okay so slaving is an exaggeration) at my work or on my school work thinking about how successful i want to become, etc etc, it makes me think what's the use. i'm going to die soon. why bother studying, working hard, etc when you can have fun? not in the sense of run riot and party all night like some crazy effer. i mean have fun as in lead a life free of stress, free of this endless worrying, etc. sometimes i don't see the point on working hard. i look at my dad who is some insanely strange man in that he just keeps working. working, working, working. stressing, worrying, working hard. that's his policy in life. work hard. but it makes me think... why? he changed professions, studied another degree (now has 5 degrees) and is now a lawyer. but what's the point? i really don't know... why should we lead a life of stress, anxiety, worry and paranoia when we can simply enjoy our lives? we're going to die soon anyway. (realistically speaking?)

if we're speaking in general terms then i'd like to think i do. i find it easy to get on with people, speak to new people, make them laugh, have an interesting discussion, debate, etc. this is in general terms, speaking to new people, friends, etc.

that's true, but if you were on your death bed and suffering so intensely, would you still want to live? i'll give you an example; my friends grandfather is sick in hospital and he is going to die anyday now. they don't know when. he is happy at the moment, smiling, laughing, and he knows who is family is. if they operate on him, he will eventually end up brain dead and not knowing who anyone around him is. this is not really euthanasia related, but i'm just saying, would you rather die happy and knowing who your family is? or would you rather die braindead and in a vegitative form?

hmm interesting topic reillo. i always have my moments where i sit and think about everything and drift off, thinking about all those things you have stated in this thread. and to be honest i really don't know why i keep trucking. i guess it's because i'm here and alive and i have to. i mean i want to simply leave a content life, be happy with myself, be successful (i hope) and start a good family. make a good contribution to society? in what way i don't know. time will tell. when i think abotu it, i also find it hard to find any meaning in it, it seems like an endless cycle; you are born, you bring on the next generation of people, you die, and the cycle continues. it's confusing and akjsadhaslkda;k it's stressing me out again. reilly stop stressing me damn it :disappointed: :kiss:

hahahaha. yes those few threads that have managed to make its way to the lounge and only remain there by people bumping them every 5 minutes because they end up swallowed by the name threads. ahh yes i was here for a few seconds yesterday before i left in the arvo to be somewhere and the entire first page was full of name and game threads. :disappointed: :cry:
