all right, anyone else think the "eyebrow" girl is really a man? i can't remember where i read some more on this...probably someone's blog...but they said this season was going to be full of "surprises."

...i think if you're really enamored with coldplay or any other musician(s) and their music, you should always go for standing tickets...if not, you'll be back in the seating area wishing you were up at the front...like some people already said, just get there extra early and don't forget to wear your trainers :D !

yes! ohhh yes! i highly recommed "a certain trigger!" i absolutely love "apply some pressure" and "once, a glimpse".... i recently wrote them an e-mail full of praise, begging them to come tour the east coast :rolleyes:

"the intimate ones" were during "in my place" ...but i can't remember which song the other picture is from? possibly clocks? i know it was from nissan pavilion and before the encore.

you should have been in the pit! everyone in the front was signing every song, including "ring of fire!" oh, what a sweet message for you friend! :) was the venue really that bad? or was it the ppl?

awe, we should of met and joined forces to dominate the pit! sadly, we didn't try to wait for them...it was too exhausting...the drive to and from VA beach was 6 1/2 hours.... and that drained our patience. i was hoping I was going to see Guy on a run ouside the venues, but no luck there! how did the camera pics turn out? my sis caught a finger band at VA beach, and i got one at nissan.

you know it was a surreal moment...it was right after the gates opened, i was on my way to the restroom, i looked up and there he was with some management type of fellow who had a british accent as well....chris looked at me like i caught him in some act...i approached him and stepped onto the staircase while silently screaming "oh my God..oh my God!...you're chris!...i love you, can i please have your autograph?" he said "yes, yes of course love...just please do me a favor and don't yell out and cause attention" and the fellow with him said something cheeky along the lines if i yell out, we'll be run over by people...i just nodded, and smiled and was in search of my sharpie and ticket stub...and i remember the incident being so humorous b/c i was in a panic trying to get my sis's attention w/o disobeying chris's request...when my sis finally ran over, she couldn't find her ticket, so she asked him to sign her! there were some people that finally noticed who he was and tried to get to him, but he just stayed to sign for my sis and me...so it was pretty special! :rolleyes: :) *oh, this is making me reminisce some more....we had arrived there pretty early 2:00-30, and saw their bus drive in, but we tragically left to buy some lunch, and missed out on chris and jonny coming out before the show to sign for these two guys who brought binders full of pics...and then before the gates opened, Will was walking around and kindly obliged in taking pictures with fans...my sis has one w/ him.

awe, i'm sorry! don't worry, there will be a next time... you know that reminds me of the ending of "in my place" at nissan. something must have gone wrong, b/c chris didn't tease on with the "ooohh yeaaahhh!" "ooohhhh yeaaahhh!" the lights just went out!?

it was pure luck and i'm forever grateful! it was at a staircase right above the restrooms...he gave me a nice embrace and his lovely autograph as well....and was also kind enough to sign my sister's shirt after i frantically yelled for her as she was purchasing a cp shirt at a booth. *you would think i wouldn't get any lip from her when i want to go to the bathroom at concerts now-a-days, but i do! :P

has anyone become chummy with the coldplay stage/tech crew…in particular, the camera guys in front of the stage…i have a slight crush on the curly haired one on the right side...i think the other guy on the left is named reuben. i wish i had talked to him or had taken a picture. is this bizarre?

yes! "cut across the land" hooked me in...i hope they do well.

I was at the concert first row, on the right, in the pit and I thought their performance was brilliant! I was also at the virginia beach concert the night before in the first row, center stage, in the pit and there’s no doubt in my mind that their hearts were more into the concert at nissan pavilion–they were probably relieved the US tour was over for now. The crowd seemed more pleasant friday night, but I did overhear obnoxious (most likely drunk) people on either sides. I was surprised I wasn’t pushed though, not once; the two guys behind me were very polite. At Virginia beach, there was this annoying dumb girl who was literally all up on me trying to squeeze her way up, and on top of singing out of key, she kept changing lyrics, “Look at the stars, Look how they shine for me”…“I came along, I wrote a song for me” …yup, I wanted to slap her. As for comparing this show to pier 6…it’s no contest! Pier 6 was phenomenal!! Aside from accidentally meeting chris while going to the restroom, it just felt more intimate. The crowd was all smiles and more harmonious. They seemed like they had been longtime fans. Oh, at nissan did anyone catch that woman climb up on stage from the right, and then later on that man climbing on stage from the left? security was lacking. i loved how they did that countdown in "clocks"....and "talk" was so freakin' good! chris: " i need a phone!" :D My sis has over two hundred pics from both nights, and she’ll be posting them up soon. I can’t wait until they come back next year.

i can't believe i watched almost the entire show....how depressing! only for coldplay! anyone know why'd they agree to perform this year?
