Haha yeah :D don't know if that is on purpose but it's quite funny how often you stumble upon "Coldplay tracks"... few days ago I found a song called "A rush of blood" by a band named coasts :D By the way... what do you think of amber run?

Amber Run! Just don't get tired of their debut album. Others are Kodaline, Athlete (soo much like Coldplay) and Feeder (mostly the albums comfort in sound and Pushing the senses),

Haha when it comes to live versions everglow shouldn't have gone out that quickly. Just listen, this performance is amazing!! Far better than on the album.

Up&Up!!!

Okay we agree to Amsterdam then :D I mean opinions differ but, well I would always prefer UWTB or O to Up&Up. Haha yeah hey Jude is a good example of a reptitive chorus and it works indeed. Just gotta admit that I expected something different than the actual album version, especially when you take a look at coldplays previous album closers. Would have been fine with the live version though :D

Hm I personally don't think that up&up is their best album closer. It's their worst I reckon, their worst of the Newplay era for sure. Have you listened to Up with the birds or O from ghost stories? And you are telling me Up&Up is better than those two songs... hell no!!!! Up&Up is overproduced and the chorus is very very generic and doesn't really change during the whole song and man, that's 6 minutes! Yep noel is amazing, BUT in my opinion it doesn't make that song their best closer, by far not!! Nevertheless my vote goes to AOAL...

Okay guys! Gonna CHANGE my vote from Up&Up to AOAL ... just because Fun is better than that funky pop song. evertheless I'd like to say that Up&Up deserves to be eleminated before AOAL :D

Yep it is, BUT it's one of the best produced songs on the album PLUS Davide Rossi's strings make this song have a really nice crescendo, which Everglow is missing sadly. That's one of the reasons I don't like oceans that much cause nothing really happens during the entire song. Fix You on the other hand starts beautifully slow and then ... BAM ... Jonny's guitar! Amazing Day brings this feeling back, not much of it, but more than Everglow does.

Haha just wanted to agree to your previous post :D up&up in my opinions is waaaaaays and waaaays better live! Just don't like this overproduced electronic stuff. I quite often think it would have been better they didn't discover the "new" ways of producing things but should have stuck with their knowledge they had 10 years ago

Well opinions differ... I'm not very keen on any interlude to be honest... it just isn't necessary in my opinion. Wasnt keen on Mylo interludes as well.

Same here... my vote goes to kaleidoscope... I'm sure there's a b side which should have made it instead of this pretty boring interlude.. coldplays worst in my opinion
