this might be somewhat off-topic but im suprised not a lot of people have talked about this we pray acoustic performance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqrJLcUAH-U (last song). honestly to me, its one of the most beautiful performances chris has put out and the acoustic version works soooo well with elyanna only too. it fully puts the song in a new context and you can really appreciate the beauty and message. also chris singing burnas parts brings out the melancholy too. i understand why they made it massive sounding on the record, but an acoustic version probably would have fit better.

it is crazy to me how little attention all my love is getting. it sounds so so beautiful!! of course we have only heard chris version of it, but wow if people doubt whether we care then all you need to do is watch the performance of that. chris gives it his everything. flifil didn't get me tbh, i much prefer higher power, but all my love, good feelings soundcheck and one world snippet all have me very excited for the album. i think people forget too, chris is a massive hippie ever since ghost stories, so if you ever watch an interview he talks about following the muse a lot and just trusting his intuition. for me, this can bring up massive highs (everyday life) or mixed results (mots). but what i respect is the earnestness, the love and the devotion he puts into everything he is doing. even if some of the songs (like flifil) dont connect with me, i cannot argue against them or start berating the band. this is the honest intention they are following, and as someone who has been deeply affected by their existence, all i can say is i show my absolute love and respect to whatever they are doing.

this is interesting. i think an underrated thing that people haven't considered is that the writers strike in america has definitely delayed the timeline, and my theory is that has bought time to dedicate more attention on moon music. i think chris said publicly somewhere that moon music was meant to be some short thing. the animated musical (which also btw i suspect is going to be distributed through illumination as phil shouted out an illumination pic recently and these things sometimes mean something) being delayed by 2 years because of the whole writers guild thing is my theory anyway. i do think the last album will come around before 2027 tbh, i remember phil saying in a coldplayxtra interview that chris has written most of the songs for the last album already, and that interview was back in 2021
