  1. lol Nick, you're such a prep. Okay I'm going to bed now, I've got court tomorrow morning.
  2. No! If you don't like a government, then you shouldn't vote in its elections. That only gives the government the air of legitimacy. Don't like the EU? Don't vote!
  3. He had kidney problems, and for that you need a dialysis machine to filter the toxins out of your blood. People with that situation have a tough time because their body is constantly poisoning itself with urea (which is what you usually pee out). It's not fun.
  4. Because Osama doesn't have that much money, whereas Hitler's Ghost is loaded.

For a second there I thought you were talking about San Francisco.
  6. Nick, I'm donating $40 million to your campaign. I had to fill out a bunch of paperwork to make the donation, and they kept asking for my name so I just put "Hitler's Ghost". Hope you don't mind.

Then that's your choice. But I'd never point a gun at you to make you pay for a car with airbags! You would point a gun at me, however, because your value system (even though you admit you wouldn't follow it yourself, because you're a hypocrite) is so important to you that you think everybody in society should follow it.

Did it really take those law changes? Which would you purchase: A car with airbags for 1500 pounds more, or a car without airbags? Given a choice, I think you'd go with the former. And guess what? It didn't require you to obey a law!

So Obama has decided to shoot/imprison anybody who manufactures and sells a car that gets under a certain arbitrary # of miles per gallon in America. Land of the free.
  10. Breaking News: Government is inefficient! People are overtaxed! I'm outraged!
  11. Moral authority? What moral authority has the British government ever had? Are you making some "divine right to rule" argument? Look, when you elect a politician, that means you pay their salary with your taxes. You're paying for their toilet paper, the gifts they give to their girlfriends, the gas-guzzlers they buy, their flats in London, their subscription to pornography websites, etc. That's what a salary is! It's what you use to pay for EVERYTHING, even the crap you don't happen to agree with. So what makes this expenses outrage justified? Just give the politicians a raise or something, so they can pay for their duck ponds. Then you won't even see what they're buying, and you won't be outraged anymore.
  12. I don't know why anybody still lives in Britain. Honestly.
  13. I'm not sure why this is such a big deal. I mean, aren't British people aware they already pay for the salaries of all these politicians anyway? You finance every single thing they do. Get over it.
  14. Indeed. How much would it cost to overthrow the government? Right now the risks outweigh the costs, but I'm confident that equation will shift in the medium to long-term future. I think the key is to emphasize the importance of NOT participating in electoral politics. Already a majority of Americans who are eligible to vote don't bother, because they're not interested in imposing their will on others. The idea that all children should want to grow up to be President of the United States has led to a massive surplus of liberal-arts students who know nothing practical but can name all the inner workings of this massive bureaucratic mafia we call a government. Our industrial competitive advantage is gone, the only thing we know how to do is print more money. And that's starting to translate into tangible economic effects. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agorism
  15. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpsBM1rmx-M]YouTube - Military Time: Obama--contractors in security-force[/ame] "You are privatizing something that is what essentially sets a nation-state apart, which is the monopoly on violence." You won't hear such honesty coming from Obama or any other president again in your lifetime. It's amazing they caught it on video.
  16. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7ehlw_phys]YouTube - What News Anchors Do During Commercial Breaks w/sound[/ame] :D They must have been working on this for a while.

I don't bite my nails, but I do bite the cuticles around them. Which is an annoying habit because my fingers will hurt alot when I'm dealing with acidic liquid or food. The upside is it makes my hands look more manly! :D

  19. Aww Jenika, I know you'll get a better batch of friends once you're in college! You're such a sweet girl. Now go get some shut-eye!
  20. I am what I am and that's all that I am.
  21. I think I understood the Wikipedia entry on quantum entanglement more than I've understood this thread.
  22. Parliamentary and Congressional systems don't work. Period. In fact, democracy is a joke. Look at the US Congress's approval rating, and compare it with the re-election rate of the members for evidence. People think that by voting they are doing their duty as citizens, and they look down on non-voters (the majority) as people who couldn't care less about society. This couldn't be further from the truth. Non-voters just want to be left alone, and they aren't interested in imposing their whims on their fellow man. That is infinitely more noble than standing in line and marking a box.
  23. So because someone "wins" that gives them the right to head an organization that claims the monopoly right to initiate violence if we don't pay it protection money (aka "taxes")? Of course not. The whole idea that winning a vote bestows some special right is not only archaic, it's amoral and childish.
  24. Voting, lol. That only works on Simon Cowell produced TV shows.
  25. Michael Savage is an entertainer with an appropriate surname. Why does the government have to wave a gun around whenever things aren't going good for them?
