Haha, maybe! What helped me was the part where you said the speaker likes to write a lot. Now Coldplay has a lot of love songs so some of it wouldn't have helped me :) Oh well, you told me to read carefully! :p P.S.: Oh, and at the end of your riddle you said "he was too late to sea that" instead of "see that".
