  1. Good evening, my first post here in so many years!! Darlington, United Kingdom Shiver
  2. Was a brilliant gig, Probably the best Coldplay gig I've been to, and this is my 7th one. That said, the support acts were woeful. Don't get me wrong I know that music is subjective and I'm sure Charlie XCX and Robyn have their fair amount of followers, but to be supporting a Rock group? really? I also don't think it helps the support artists playing to a crowd who generally don't appreciate their music. I remember seeing Coldplay at Bolton supported by Elbow and Morning Runner. Absolutely fantastic.
  3. Just checked my order details again there's no lettered section (i.e. A-K) so I do think it's standing. Thank god, I was worried there for a bit. Heres to a good day in Manchester and a good gig after before the drive back to Darling-town
  4. Can people do me a favour and check their order details? I ordered off the ticketmaster manchester - standing presale and selected floor (was the only option to select) got my 2 tickets ok £106.50 for box office collection. Anyway after clicking on ticket details it says I'm on the floor but row 15, seats 48-49. Is this just to control the amount of tickets they sell or is it actually seating on the floor? Tempted to contact the MEN to find out. I really really don't want to sit.
  5. Brilliant performance this :) I went over to Rock AM Ring this year and coldplay didn't disappoint as usual! :D
  6. my last visit here was over 3 years ago! Anyway, re: prices, is £47.50 general admission? Love going to see Coldplay but I'd be hesitant at paying £65 for just standing!
  7. I absolutely love the album. I went to the cinema tonite and all I could think about was getting out so I could come out and listen to the album again! Love it!!!!
  8. on gigs and tours it will say which is standing, i doubt it will be sold as A,B,C etc, just floor standing. And you get to keep the ticket stubs after your gigs all mine go on my wall after ive been to the events! *looks up* Editors, The Verve, Interpol :D
  9. im going for standing, thats the best way! :)
  10. ah well its up to you mate, personally I wouldnt but each to their own, which NIA gig are you going to out of interest, im going to the gig on the 1st :)
  11. Really would not book through that site, i've never heard of them before, stick to either gigsandtours.co.uk or see tickets, or ticketmaster. even if you have to buy tickets in two batches. I just think its a hell of a lot safer. Also, try going to the arena website they will have a booking system. I've just seen a site offering tickets for £95 a pop, dont be fooled, they are just out to take your money!
  12. sorry, just checked now prices are 495 SEK for standing
  13. any idea of prices for the show? i will be flying over from England to Stockholm as my sister is living in sweden next year :)
  14. I'm going to this gig, cannot wait, been a long time since i've seen coldplay and armed with tracks like lost, this gig will be amazing! Anyone wanting Parking information... The NIA isn't really in the city centre, its just off the city centre, an idea perhaps would be to park in the city centre itself at one of the multistorey car parks and either walk or catch a bus to broadstreet.
  15. Coldplay seem to have a longer version of life is for living, which i have heard them perform live once or twice. Theres an extra verse at least, has anyone got an MP3 of it?
  16. LOL there was a thread on this done about 2 months before X & Y was released and not many people had coldplay as their number 1 band then! amazing how things change aint it! haha
  17. marko1892 replied to mia21's topic in The World Of Music

  18. I saw the phonics a couple of years back and i was pretty dissapointed to be honest with you! Their best albums were Word Gets Around and Performance and Cocktails. After that it kinda went down hill
  19. As if Luis Figo is friends of Coldplay! i wouldnt have thought it would be his cup of tea!! Luis Figo should have came to Newcastle in the summer rather than signing for them losers! haha
