Lol I just love the fact that obviously ALL Argentinian are bad losers. The guys on the field kicked against the Germans after losing and the fans don't act any better. Come on, it's a game, and you gotta admit that it's incredible that the Germans managed to kick out the favourite of this WC!

I think he was a great captain and he definitely deserved to wear the armband. I think he did his best and is still a fantastic player. But I think it's a great step from him to leave the armband to some of the younger, new players.

Yeah, but.. in this situation, they were playing against each other.. Wouldn't it be natural if he'd say something like that about the player of a different team? Sorry if this sounds stupid, I have no idea about club politics.

I kinda don't get this whole thing.. I don't know ANYTHING about English football clubs as I don't get any news about that over here in Austria.. So, Christiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney are both at ManU, right? Can anyone tell me what's wrong with Ronaldo complaining?

I'm going for Germany.. I'm not saying I WANT them to win, I just think they have a really good chance to do so.

Hach, ich weiß dass ihr Deutschen euch England draußen gewünscht habt, aber wie man wohl allein an meiner Signatur merkt, bin ich im Herzen Engländerin und dementsprechend enttäuscht.. Aber naja, hab mir auch euer Spiel gestern gegen Argentinien angeschaut und war wirklich beeindruckt - bei der Motivation und Euphorie habt ihr definitiv die Chance aufs Finale, ich wünsch es euch :) Jetzt wo England draußen ist, gehört all mein Daumendrücken meinem lieben Nachbarland :P @ Larry: Danke für die Geburtstagsglückwünsche :D

I'm just.. devastated.. What an awful birthday.. I went to an Open Air location, just to see the game on a huge screen.. I'm an Austrian, but I was for England right from the beginning and in my heart, I'm British as much as I can be. I was screaming, crying and jumping during the game and the way we lost was awful.. Penalty shoot-outs are always nervwracking.. Rooney is such a jerk. He was supposed to score my birthday goal :P But well.. He's just being Rooney. He's the Liam Gallagher of football and I love him for that :D He's a jerk - a HOT jerk ^^ But well.. two games without Beckham (if he doesn't get well soon), Rooney (his fault, this stupid little kid!), Owen (out from the first minute, what a pity) and Terry (at least one game without him) wouldn't have been fun anyway.. We came far and I think that England can be really proud after this game.

Yeah, come on, you're overreacting.. First of all, this belongs to the World Cup section, and secondly, such comments simply get made during such championships, he didn't mean it in an insulting way, get over it!

COLDPLAY could score their first No1 song — with an ode to lanky England star PETER CROUCH. CHRIS MARTIN revealed his footie song on stage at the Isle Of Wight Festival on Sunday. And he reckons his band will be guaranteed top spot in the charts if we go on to win the World Cup. The singer told the crowd: “I’ve got a secret to share with you. Oh poor Chris, being stuck for two hours must be awful... But not for the other persons who were lucky to spend two hours with him :P

I really hope he'll never do that.. I can imagine him doing collaborations like he already does, but I can't imagine him standing alone on a stage, doing solo songs.. To me, Chris isn't just a singer, he's part of a band.. I have to admit that I thought about it to when hearing that Thom Yorke releases a solo album, but.. Can you imagine Bono doing a solo album? I can't! And I can't imagine Chris singing solo either..
