I haven't cared for the Austrlian team so far, BUT - I gotta admit, it's an absolutely beautiful team with GORGEOUS players :D

This is just ridiculous.. I've never seen fans behaving like you Italians are.. It's a shame! And that's why I really don't wanna see the Italians winning the cup.. Football is more than just the performance on the field, it's also the fans' and players' behavior - and from that point, you don't deserve winning AT ALL!

Aaah couldn't have expressed it better! Some of you Italians are the worst, most arrogant winners I've ever seen! You're like little kids laughing at other kids who fall on the floor or who wear an embarrassing sweater.. Makes me wanna puke!

Ooh that would be lovely :D I love Ben Stiller movies and I wanna see Gwyneth in a funny, romantic movie again! They both would look great as a couple! And they were brilliant in The Royal Tenenbaums - loved that movie :P

Echt, wusste gar nicht dass es da auch solche Tumulte gegeben hat.. Hab gerade in einem anderen Forum die Deutschen gute Verlierer genannt :P Na toll.. Ich hoffe, dass nicht gleich die Depressionswelle losgeht, sondern dass ihr stolz auf das Team seid und auf die WM, die ihr so fantastisch ausgerichtet habt! Das Leben geht weiter.. Ich hoffe wirklich, dass diese tolle Laune nicht abbricht. Und ein bissl Größenwahn war in diesem "Patriotismus" ja auch dabei - von Anfang an vom WM-Titel auszugehen, das kann einen am Schluss ja nur weeiiiit nach unten auf den Boden hauen!

France, for so many reasons: 1) I want Zinedine Zidane to have the best end of a career you can probably have. 2) Everyone said they're old and weak, but they proved that they're not! and last, but most importantly: 3) Because Portugal kicked England out - so now I want the French team to kick out the Portuguese :P

Both teams were great. I really want France to win today - and DAMN IT, I want them to kick out Italy in the final!!

Oh what a pity.. I really wanted Germany to win.. The Italians might have played well, no doubt, but they don't deserve it anyway. They've been arrogant and they're cheating and.. I really didn't want them to win :( It was really sad in the end.. A goal just one minute before the penalty shoot-out would have started, that's just bad luck! I feel sorry for the Germans, they would have deserved it - and Lehmann did a great job and he would have done an amazing job at the penalty shoot-out! But the German team can be proud, they really can! They've done a brilliant job, they showed the world that they're a fantastic team, and they arranged a wonderful World Cup! Thank you, Germany! :D

Ach Gott das ist wirklich traurig.. 2:0 für Italien.. Das Beste ist: Hab jetzt zu TV Total geschalten, die sind erst bei 116. Minute, also doch nicht gaaanz live ;) Jetzt muss ich dranbleiben, um zu sehen, wie in genau 2 Minuten sich Stefan Raabs Gesicht verdunkeln wird..

Seems like the German team gave up right after the goal.. Second goal just one minute later.. 2:0 for Italy.. Fuck. Damn. I'm so sorry for Germany :( :( Germany was brilliant, it was a thrilling and fantastic game.. How sad!

Aaah Verlängerung, ich hasse es.. Das dauert eeewig und zieht nur die Spannung in die Länge :P Und schlafen gehen kann ich auch nicht, muss ja sehen obs mein schönes Nachbarland ins Finale schafft :D Also ich geh mal wieder zurück zum Fernseher und drück fest die Daumen :)

"You always lose"? Do some research before you say something like that! It's true that the Germans haven't beaten Italy in a World Cup yet, but a) they haven't played THAT often against each other in a WC b) they've beaten them before OUTSIDE of the WC c) this time, the WC is held in Germany, that's a big plus d) who says that statistics prove everything? There's always a first time ;)

I'm really looking forward to this game.. Can't wait to find out who's gonna win and who's gonna insult who afterwards in this message board section :P

Yeah it is sad! But on the other hand - Beckham was critisized a lot before the World Cup and then he scored that important goal against Ecuador (right? I mix up all the countries all the time) and everyone loved him again.. So, he showed that he can do it, he showed that he's a great captain.. It's also really great of him to step back when he knows that he kinda has a few troubles with the new coach or something.. There were some rumours, I don't know whether it's true or not, but it's good that he stepped back before any fights or problems appear - and this way, he gives another player the chance!

It's just a shame that it had to end like that.. You know, with his injury. I was hoping his career as a captain would end with a big victory..

Haha what does she think she is? Well.. I don't disagree with ALL that she says, but it's bullshit that football reflects a country's society.. In Germany, the SOCIETY reflects FOOTBALL, not vice versa :P The Germans don't play good because of the country's society, the society is in a great mood because of football :D I like the last paragraph though, because it's true :D

Well, there are always two sides.. We'll never know who's right or wrong. Football is unfair itself, you can't trust any players or referees or whatever.. This World Cup definitely made me realize how unfair it all is.
