Oh yeah, Kärnterstraße is lovely, I actually work and go to school nearby, I go there everyday :P

I remember this day very well. Because I kinda had a strange, bad feeling in the morning.. I had a summer job in the bank at that time, and on the front of the branch, there was a little TV, running without sound. I remember looking at it and reading something with "LONDON" and I knew something was wrong.. I was shocked and I even started crying. Because I had this horrible feeling - I know a person in London, a person I still love, but who I'm not in touch with anymore. And I had the bad feeling of him being there, being hurt.. I still don't know if anything happened to him... Just a few weeks later, I travelled to London and I didn't use the tube at all, I went everything by foot..

By the way, you gotta visit every HMV and Virgin store on Oxford Street, they have lots of cool Coldplay stuff you probably don't find in your city: books, posters, interview CDs, stuff like that :P

Oooh you're a lucky girl, I love London :D Well, there are so many great things you should see, I wouldn't even know where to start.. Besides all the usual sights like Buckingham Palace, the museum Tate Modern is cool (such as its museum shop, lots of wonderful art prints!), Oxford Street is a MUST, and my favourite is Covent Garden, lots of cool small shops with awesome stuff :D

To me? To ME, Frings wasn't important at all, I'm not from Germany :P Besides that, EVERY player is important to the German team!

^ Yeah, I think so, too. Just like Oliver Kahn being the goalkeeper instead of Lehmann. Although I personally wouldn't like that - it's like "Well, we're out anyway, so you can play, who cares"..

Oh really, they only wanna play with their B team? Well.. I expected it to be like that. Like I said before, no-one really cares about 3rd or 4th place.. There isn't an award ceremony with pedestals like with skiing or at the olympics, so why should they care? No-one talks about 3rd or 4th places afterwards anyway.. I think such a game shouldn't even be played, it's about the World Cup winner and the rest doesn't matter!

Well, I didn't know how the rumour started.. But I think you can understand why German fans jumped on it immediately ;) They can say it's typical that the team they're playing against does such a cruel thing to have better chances..

^ You made your points clear, don't worry. I guess she only wanted to defend the things you said, you know. Because whistling for no reason and just because "Your team is our enemy right now" is very unfair and wrong, but they did whistle for a reason - although we still don't know if Italy DID want Frings out, who knows..

^ That's a good point, yeah. That's why I didn't mean all supporters, because every team has some fans that say inappropriate things - and we had some of them on this board ;) Of course there are also bad supporters of England - just look at the hooligans, I'd never end up like this! Well, I guess that's the end of the discussion now.. I definitely have a better picture of the Italian supporters now that some of you pointed out certain things.. And I just hope that the better team wins on Sunday, no matter if France or Italy :D

Oh yeah yeah, I've seen that thing with Ballack and was like "What the fuck??" ! The Italian player acted like he wanted to hug Ballack, Ballack "accepted" and hugged him and than the Italian hit him on the back of his head.. You could see that Ballack was totally shocked and irritated.. I wonder what was going on there!

^ Of course it has something to do with the World Cup because it's in the media everywhere and so many Italy players are involved (yeah, I know, the players itself aren't involved, but their football clubs)..

Today, the referee for the final was elected. It's going to be Horacio Elizondo who was the one sending off Rooney after a foul on Portuguese player Carvalho. No matter if it was on purpose or not, the fact that the FIFA chose this referee obviously doesn't mean a good thing when it comes to the decision what's going to happen with Rooney, don't you think? The decision was supposed to be made earlier, but has been delayed to today. Rooney already isn't allowed to play in the first qualification game for the Euro 2008, but what else will happen? It would be horrible for England if Rooney couldn't play in so many games.. But well, we'll see what the FIFA decides.

And I can only see the people on here, and I just noticed that the Italian fans behaved completely different than the others. And like I said, I didn't mean ALL of them, and I didn't mean ALL comments, I just found some comments inappropriate.. Well, football all in all is unfair and I realised that during this World Cup..

Gravity, definitely.. a very emotional, slow, wonderful song! And non-Coldplay songs: Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah" makes me cry whenever I hear it, and the Oasis cover of "Wonderwall" by Ryan Adams can make me cry pretty often as well..

I just.. I just can't imagine Chris standing on the stage all alone, can you?? Although he's a "rock star" now, he's indeed still very shy and insecure and I don't think he can deal with the whole stage all on his own.. And I don't think that you think of a solo artist when you listen to the album and don't know the band - all fuckin' bands have one lead singer, that doesn't mean that it's JUST the lead singer.

Haha haven't even noticed that.. Yeah, what's wrong about saying "girlfriend", huh?

^ Yeah, I can understand that. Both teams are kinda out of the World Cup, and no-one actually cares who's third or fourth! Even the players don't care too much about it anymore.. When you talk about the World Cup in a few years, no-one will mention the 3rd or 4th place, it's only about the winner and the team that was beaten in the final..
