I just discovered a review of the single "Fix You".. It's by a critic from Wessex, called "JS" - you can find it here: http://www.wessexscene.co.uk/article.php?sid=1164. I was kind of pissed when I read it.. This guy says that Fix You is "predictable, entirely unoriginal and mind-numbingly boring".. :confused: Below, you can also see a review of the Kaiser Chiefs - this reviewer seems to hate this particular style of music in general! :angry:

No, I don't think that they'll show it in the US, too, it's only on European MTV! But check the American MTV site, maybe they'll show it.. But, on the other hand, we can't see the Latin MTV Awards in Europe either!

@ Sarah: MTV Germany shows it from 20:00 on! The red carpet show starts at 8 pm, the official show probably one hour later! But I guess you shouldn't miss the MTV News Special with Markus Kavka at 18:30, maybe they'll show something of Coldplay, too :D Yeah, my vote goes to Talk, too.. I truly hope they'll perform it! I think they won't perform Fix You again, as they've already performed it at other MTV awards this year!

Hellooo my dear friends from green, peaceful Ireland :D I live in Vienna, the capital of Austria, and I just got the offer from a teacher of my school that I get one of four university places at "Waterford Institute of Technology". I haven't finished school yet, so I won't start studying there - it's just for one month. I'll be there in February next year and I was wondering if any Coldplay fans are at this university?! ;) I heard it's the third biggest university in Ireland.. I'm very excited, I've never been to Ireland before and it's a huge thing to get away from home for a whole month to study with strangers... Anyway, I was just interested in finding out what Waterford / Ireland thinks of Coldplay :wink3:

I really hope that they'll win an award.. I mean, they're nominated in FIVE categories, they HAVE TO win something!! I don't care about all these American MTV Awards like VMA's and so on, because only hip hop guys and Green Day win over there ;) But Coldplay definitely derseve some EMA's, they really do :D And I can't wait for their performance either - I kind of hope that they'll play "Talk" and not "Fix You" again..

Damn, I wish I could see it.. It sucks not to live in the UK - in all different kind of aspects :( I can't wait til I finished school - then I'm finally gonna leave my country and move to England, yiha!!

I didn't read all 17 pages, but I read the first page and downloaded the Ashlee Simpson song you were talking about - it's UNBELIEVABLE how obvious it is.. OMG, I f*ckin' hate her right now! I can't believe this, it's the same freakin' melody!! Awful!!

Yeah, I wish I'd have seen it, too, I just found out through the web that they won.. And I heard that Chris sang "If you never try you'll never know, Robbie" :D And during Robbie Williams' performance, Robbie sang at the end "Look at the stars, look how they shine for you", isn't that cool?? I wish I'd have seen it..

Well, two weeks before I even travelled from Vienna to London to see them :D And then from Vienna to Hofstetten, which isn't that far ;)

Yaaay and Coldplay won a Nordic Award :D They won in the category "Best International band" and performed "Fix You" live on stage.

Yeah, I've been there, too, first row :D It was an awesome concert, I loved it!! I liked especially the fact that it has been raning for days, but as soon as the support act came on stage, the rain stopped and the weather was beautiful until Coldplay left the stage, it was like a miracle :)

It happened to me.. And it wasn't just the looks, I had such a strange feeling when I first saw him - something like a "sign", you know? That I'm meant to see him at this moment.. Well, it didn't work, because he lives too far away from me. Otherwise I would have tried it and who knows what would have happened.. And I think, that this "love at first sight" thing has something special about it, because I think that a love like this can follow you around much longer than other relationships.. Although I know that it's impossible to be with him, I still can't let him go - it's like I'm gonna love him from the first moment, the first sight, until the last moment of my life :rolleyes:

Well, I don't know any people of this board yet, so I gotta pick the only ones I know :lol: First of all, of course, kat_in_blue (I don't know if she writes a lot of posts in here, I've already known her before I knew that she's at this board as well - at least she's registered) and mooseheadsfan who I was glad to meet yesterday.. Well, that's it - these are all persons I know :confused: Well, the third person would probably be one of the nice Germans, like A Whisper for example :)

As I don't believe in God, I don't pray and I can't pray for her - but I'll pray for her in my own way, I wish her all the best and good luck, I really hope that she'll be fine and that it all works out :)

I'm actually scared of DEATH - but not MINE, I'm scared of the death of other people. Well, of course especially the loss of people you love, like family members or friends, but most of all, I'm scared that I "see someone dying" - all my life, I was witness of people who got strucked by a car, fell on the underground rails or had a terrible dizzy spell. And I simply can't stand being part of such scenarios anymore! Each time I'm standing at the underground, I'm afraid that someone falls down - it's strange, that I'm not afraid of getting strucked by a car or a train myself, I'm only scared of seeing someone else dying or getting hurt :embarrased:
