Coldplay said they'd never sell themseves/music in commercials. When Coldplay was in Toronto @ MuchMusic's Intimate and Interactive, Jen, the VJ asked them "l heard you don't want your music in films" and Jonny said "thats not true, we like our music in films, its cool" Chris said "we were playing in Los Angelas the other day and we were joking on stage in being 'Dude Wheres My Car 2' and the producer was there, so what can l say? we're up for it. We were just in a film called Insomnia, well, we wern't in it, but if you listen very carefully, and ignore what Robin Williams and Alpachio are saying at ONE particular point, you can just about hear us (laughs) so we really made that film" so...LOL :D that sums up how they feel about music in films. 1. l was there. 2. its hard to describe my music, because I've been playing solo acoustic shows and havent been able to create my music to its fullest (I'm workin on that right now) I play at whatever open mic night I can find, and book 2-hour shows about once a month my influences are Travis (vocals), Coldplay (composition, vibe), Sigur Ros (effects), Ben Folds Five (vibe), Doves (experimentation), Goo Goo Dolls (brightness, tuning), Ours (darkness, vocals)... basically, its all at my website, which is below my sig...
