thanx Corey07 for the fast respons....I'll look for a 88 key keyboard....or a e-piano... but, I will not be able to afford that Yamaha....has anyone got a cheaper suggestion???

hello I have a few questions for all you piano-playing people in this thread. I've been playing guitar for a while now, but I would like to get to know the piano too. What I would really like to play are Coldplay, U2 and Billy joel songs...and some selfcomposed stuff. But now, I have to find a piano/e-piano/keyboard.... What I would like to have is a good keyboard with a good piano sound build in...and some small enhanced features...but, it should be kept simple. Now, for my questions: - If I wanna play "piano" on the keyboard, will I need 88 keys?? - Which type of keyboard or e-piano do you think is good to start with, but still has a good sound...? Since I don't have a lot of money...I want to try to get a occasion I hope someone can help me thanx aad

I've never played piano, but have played electric guitar for the past 6 years.... to widen my musical capability...I'm searching for a e-piano now. What are weighed keys?? (sorry, I'm really not in to the technical details yet)

yeah, I must say...I liked some parts, but most of it was really overdone if you ask me....I mean that escape scene through that narrow path with the dinosaures chasing them....really really fake.... Ohw, and I really didn't like the way they've made KONG look like a little child full of love.....brrrr But, that's just me....maybe I just wasn't in the right mood the night I saw it

Well, let's be honest...HE CAN'T.....If you hear Bono sing "Pride in the name of love" without the edge's delayed guitar behind him...and larry's powerfull drumming combined with adam's deep bass....it's like a drunk man is trying to sing "happy birthday"

i guess they were. listening to their music makes me want to gouge out my ears though. :sick: I know what you mean.....!!! But, they've made some great songs (a few), the only problem is: it all sounded very much alike....I think U2 has done more for rock/pop then the beatles these days....They've explored the area's of every music-genre and still remained u2, without break ups and with a constant feel for the way they had to go to make great music

Personally I don't really care about the intimate songs anymore...they've had enough of that.... I really like certain songs on the album, but the problem, I think, is that they're indeed overproduced and they sounds very much alike... They overdone keyboards on the first 5 songs really bug me.....it all sounds the same... but still, I like the album....but I think they've tryed to hard to be something there're not..
