  1. i disagree. the pulse version has a clean, acoustic intro, which doesn't really suit the riff in my opinion. if you listen to the first 30 seconds of the studio version with the volume cranked up, it's definitely something....
  2. you've got amnesic and hail to the thief but not the bends or pablo honey? i'm not hat huge of a radiohead fan, but even i can tell that's a bit unusual.
  3. hmmm.......that might be because of the wind noises at the end of the song leading up to Shine On. Come on people! Doesn't anyone else like Pink Floyd?
  4. Definitely. But they have so many amazing songs. Shine On, Money, Sheep, Comfortably Numb, the list goes on and on.
  5. http://www.pinkfloydonline.com/discography/wywh.html scroll down a bit.
  6. Myth? It actually happened, didn't it? Rick Wright once recounted that event in an interview. He just came up to the guys and said "So, when do I play?"
  7. 1) Keane (These guys are liek SOOOOO AWESOME!) 2) Kaiser Chiefs (The GREATEST ARTIST since liek.....OASIS!!!!!!) 3) Arctic Monkeys (I just LOOOOOOOOOOVE their new album!!!!) Don't count those, I just wanted to piss Big Greek off.
  8. The Official Pink Floyd Thread I think their best album is a tie between Wish You Were Here and Animals. David Gilmour is simply the greatest guitarist of all time.
  9. yuck. but i guess that would be better than hearing Speed Of Freaking Sound.
  10. Shoot me, but I think Radiohead's music is best enjoyed listening to their individual songs. Because since every album is almost equally good up till Amnesiac, you can't really pick one over the others. But at gunpoint, I would choose The Bends.
  11. wtf? the hardest part? you seriously, actually believe that THE HARDEST PART is going to be the fourth single? i don't believe any of this crap one bit. in related news, it's been brought to my attention that Ode To Deodorant is going to be remastered and released as a single, and then after, they will re-release Shiver and give the song it's full due glory. Come on people, be realistic. The Hardest Part? Fuhggetabouwdit!
  12. excellent. i'm gonna check it out right now. EDIT: I've heard the full version and now I love it even more. Truly a masterpiece.
  13. They probably were. I don't know much about other French music though.....there aren't a whole lotta internatonal supeerstanrs, if you know what I mean.
  14. WE'VE got the Arcade Fire. Some of their stuff is pure genious.
  15. It'll be the new wave......Francopop, and you can help start it.
  16. You don't have to sound British.....I don't like their accent that much anyway. :P
  17. I can sitill make out the french accent though. But it goes well with the song.
  18. ok, lemme voice out wheat everyone who read this is thinking: huh?
  19. No problem. I love hearing stuff that isn't poisoning the industry right now....that's why indie music is so good.
  20. pull the trigger is an excellent song.
  21. they're famous for the same reason that all those other female artists hit it big.....they took advantage of the fact that there females.
  22. hmmm......the links don't really work for me......
  23. Honestly, what are you still trying to prove? We got your point already!
  24. well, sorta. but i wanna erase about three pages on this topic.....if only i was a mod....
  25. OK, now can we all get back to the original topic? As I've said before, I choose Coldplay.
