  1. ^ not really interested, thank you very much.
  2. it's on my mp3 player, and two of your other songs as well ("is this it?" and "come little daughter"). i don't think it sounds THAT britpop.....you don't have to force yourself to limit your music like that. you make so many different styles, actually.
  3. Holy crap. I just listened to Pull The Trigger for the first time in ages. It sounds even more amazing now than it did the first 500 times I heard it. People, you have to check this song out!!!
  4. 7/4 Shoreline was the best song of 2005.
  5. 7/4 shoreline was the best song of 2005.
  6. I remember reading about it in one of these forums.
  7. No, GPASOYF was supposed to be a b-side.....they decided to add it to the tracklist towards the end. Clocks was not supposed to be on because they wanted to save it for album 3, but everyone told Chris to master and add the song for AROBTTH. At any rate, Clocks has IT'S OWN X&Y counterpart, which is......Talk!!! :D

  9. Hey, I just remembered something. Didn't they decide to include The Hardest Part after they initially decided on their tracklisting? And for that matter, didn't the same thing happen to GPASOYF, the fourth single on AROBTTH? Weird.....
  10. ummmmm, not to be rude or anything, but i'm pretty sure nobody is interested, especially when you label this as "bad music"
  11. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For In My Pants ................ ................ ................ Now it's With Or Without You In My Pants
  12. What's the difference between the Bathroom and the Toilet? :o
  13. If Coldplay are your cousins from one side, then Oasis would be your other cousins. And if U2 are your uncles from one side, then Radiohead would be your other side's uncles. And The Beatles would be your grandparents!
  14. :o wow, that is indeed a very appropriate top 5 for the general musical taste on this site.....i didn't think it would be very accurate, but this definitely reflects which artists are popular in these forums......great job RC
  15. SYCMIOYO was a single is North America too, wasn't it? There was a video....
  16. You've good a good point, but think about it: they ruined X&Y's popularity right from the beginning by choosing Speed Of Sound as their first single. Why Clocks part 2 when they could have started off with Square One? And then on top of that they released Fix You next, which was supposed to be their grand finale, or at least saved for the holidays. The truth is it's too late to promote X&Y, and besides, Coldplay are not much of a singles band anyway, their an albums band as somebody in the THP thread said (forgot who). I would rather have WS as the single too, but if it isn't, then so what? The fact that Amsterdam wasn't made a single doesn't change our opinion of the son does it? If anything, we love the song even more because it isn't. Anyway, I'm not trying to argue over this. So I'll stop.
  17. Guys, what does it matter is WS is not the fourth single? You can still listen to it whenever you want on the CD if it isn't. And regardless of what the 4th single will be, it won't change other people's opinions about Coldplay......
  18. I don't know. I listened to a few Jay-Z songs, but I didn't think they were any good, even by rap standards. His rapping doesn't flow well.....like he's always spitting out extra syllables here and there and he seems to always be trying to keep up with the beats. I just think Eminem's rapping is more natural, his rapping flows better.
  19. Money is where you seard the cha-ching! from. But it's not the best song. The best one on the album is Time, closely followed by Breathe. Us And Them is killer too. And that's all just from Dark Side Of The Moon.
  20. Linkin Park are pretty good. But unfortunately, Jay-Z falls under every single stereotype people make about rappers and rap in general. And in my (and the majority of people's) opinion, he's got no talent. LP made his songs better if anything.
  21. Who here is still hoping for a Pink Floyd reunion? :wink3:
  22. The Division Bell has a lot of killer songs. But it didn't get much critical acclaim. And by then Pink Floyd was almost dead anyway. It would fall under other, but I think you've already done that.
  23. I once started a thread about him.....I like his music because it's really meaningful. But if you listen to it too much, you get a bit tired of it. That's why Yanni is good in small quantities.
  24. Can't help you there, but Yanni is a damn good artist! :D You can try using Pandora, although I don't know how useful that might be.
